Annika met the two at the start of the staircase and smirked meaningfully at them. Gauri and Bhavya nodded their heads. She heard the two dance instructors talking behind their back, "Ab yeh aunties kahan chali gayi?"

"Lagta hain bhaag gayi," Sweety giggled. "Woh steps unki bas ki baat nahi thi." As she turned around to high five Tweety, she spotted the three walking down the stairs.

Annika placed a hand on her hip and Gauri blew the two a kiss, as Bhavya made the motion of a gun at them, before 'firing' it.

"Gauri?" She turned towards her sister-in-law on her left with a mocking questioning look, "Dance kare?" Gauri hummed. Annika turned to Bhavya who raised an eyebrow, smirking lightly, "Bhavya? Tu kya bolti hain?"

"Hit it, Bhabhi," Bhavya replied confidently.

"Where are these people?" Pinky frowned, fanning herself with her phone. It was strangely hot for a day in the middle of winter.

"They must be on their way Pinky," Jahnvi patted her on the back.

"But it is true," Roop interjected, "It's not nice to be kept waiting for fifteen minutes kore than the proposed time." Jahnvi and Pinky merely exchanged glances, staying quiet. Roop looked at the two, forcing her voice to sound subdued and defeated, "You two still haven't forgiven me for what happened that night, have you?" Pinky and Jahnvi sighed, leading to Roop wiping the corner of her eyes, "I know maine joh kiya woh——"

"Just leave it Roop," Jahnvi sighed. "It's in the past."

Pinky nodded, "Let's focus on the future, yeah?"

Roop nodded hesitantly with a grateful smile, which turned into a scowl as soon as Jahnvi and Pinky walked forward with their backs facing Roop, to look for the priest and his wife.

Roop muttered under her breath as she followed, "Aap log kitna bhi koshish kare woh raaz kabhi bhi forever hidden nahi rahegi." Roop twirled the ends of her braid, "The first piece has already been toppled, it's only a matter of time before the domino effect takes place."

"We need to get out before Choti Maa and Mom come back," Omkara remarked as they hurried.

"Where did they go?" Rudra frowned. Omkara and Shivaay looked at each other with a roll of their eyes. "Guys?" Rudra prompted.

"Pandit aur paditain ko bulane gaye hain," Omkara sighed.

"What for?" Rudra looked at the two, confused.

"Rudra?" Shivaay asked.

"Yes?" Rudra nodded.

"Shut up!" Omkara and Shivaay said simultaneously as they walked hurriedly.
