Chapter 9 Walk Away

Eve's POV

CC and I waited in line to go on the ferris wheel. He also had a bag with him, but he said theres a surprize in there for me. I was just standing there when CC reached over and held my hand. I was a little nervous about it. I've never felt as loved as loved CC made me feel. The line moved forward. We got on a blue-green "car". The whole time, CC stared at me with his golden brown eyes and his sunkissed face. I felt like I was blushing. CC tilted his head and he closed his eyes ever so slightly, making my heart jump, it just made me want to kiss him. I think he's trying to get me to kiss him without using words.

CC then told me:

"You look so pretty with the sun dancing in your eyes and in your hair, it just makes you look that much more beautiful to me."

"I dont believe you.... I was never pretty, never will be..."

"Youre not just pretty to me, I think you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.... I mean it..."

"I still don't believe you...."

"Then how about if I told you I wanna ask you to be my girlfriend?"

"Wait.... you asking me to be yours?"

"Yes, why wouldn't I if I didn't mention it?"

I looked at him grinning and tilting my head.

"What?" CC asked curiously

I leaned over to him and kissed him, a longish kiss. Not too long though.

"Whats that mean?" He asked me

"Well, whatdaya think it means, CC?"
