"Kanti you're serious?" Ona laughs as I grab my purse."Mxm" I smack my lips together and head for the door, opening it and heading down to my car. I get in and drive off to the designated restaurant.

I park my car and take in deep breaths befor getting out of the car and making my way into the restaurant. I find him sitting on the far end of the restaurant. "Tata" I call out as I take a seat infront of him.

He nods in response, rude much. The waiter comes and I order a glass of orange juice, knowing vey well that I just ate two burgers and had the largest milkshake of my life half an hour ago.

"Uhm... Tata..." I trail off and he puts his phone away, sitting up straighter and taking a sip of his bourbon whiskey. How do I even say this? Tata I'm pregnant? No marn... You're going to be a grandfather? No... That'll make him even more angrier since he thinks he doesn't age.

"Minentle" I snap out of it when my name is called for the millionth time. "Ta?" I look up. "What is it? Why are you talking to yourself?" I'm talking to myself? Gosh, this is going to be one long afternoon.

"Uhm-I...Tata, I'm p-pregnant" I blurt out. He just sits there, frozen... Then burst out laughing, not the 'you're joking' laugh but the 'are you fucking kidding me' laugh. I'm fucked. "You're kidding me right?" He chuckles.

I shake my head no, his jaw clenches. "Minentle" He warns. "I'm sorry" I lowly mutter. "Uthwele mntwana kabani?" He asks, his voice strained. I remain silent. "Ndithetha nawe marn!" He slams his fists against the table.

I wince slightly burying myself into my seat, wishing to disappear into the cushions and never come back. "I-I don't know?" I lie. He tips his head back in annoyance.

"Is this what I brought you here for? Huh? Who's damn child are you carrying?" He shouts this time. I close my eyes, pushing the tears away. "I-I don't k-know"

"When you know who the father of that abomination you're carrying then you'll come home. I don't want you anywhere near my house when you're still carrying that thing" He places a few hundred rand notes on the plate and with that he gets up and walks out of the restaurant. I pay my part of the bill and leave.

I'm now parked outside the apartment complex as my phone dings with multiple notifications.

I look down at my phone and close my eyes as a lone tear flows down my face.
I dial Tata's number for the tenth time but now? He blocks me. I switch off my phone and compose myself.

I get out of the car and into the apartment, luckily Ona and I paid for this apartment together when we started university because we didn't want to stay at res, otherwise we would be homeless.

"Mosadi... O sharp?" She frowns as I walk. "I did it, I told him" I whisper, she gets up, hugging me. "He took everything Ona" I mumble. "I'm sorry" She coes. I sniffle, wiping my tears but they still flow anyway.

"I don't want to get rid of my babies Ona... I can't" I choke out a sob. "He's your father, hell forgive you Minnie. Stop stressing, it's not good for the babies, remember?" We pull away.

I'm now sitting on my desk, seeing if any jobs are available. My car's were collected a few weeks ago, all my cards are frozen and useless, except the one I personally opened. Ona on the other hand, has been very supportive, I owe my life to her.

I've tried calling Mama but she's gone off the grid. My belly's growing daily and my clothes barley fit. I'm stressed and under pressure between school and trying to find a job. Rea has been very helpful, she's my doctor now which means I don't have to worry about Samkelo finding out.

Yes, I still haven't told him and Ona has took it upon her to be the father to my babies, which I find very cute. I reached the three months mark yesterday and I feel huge. I can't even stand up without stumbling a few times.

I yawn, putting my laptop away and heading down to get something to eat. "Have you found anything?" Ona asks. "No, you?" I ask, hopeful. We've both been job hunting and for the past few weeks we've been unsuccessful.

"Yes!" She squeals, jumping up and down. I laugh, when she finally calms down. "That's amazing Ona" I hug her. "I'm a parent now, I have kids to provide for" She rubs my belly and I playfully roll my eyes.

"But anyway, Mosadi. I have to get to class, I'll be back in a few... Bye babies" She wave sas he leaves the apartment. I slump down on the couch, and immediately my eyes start to get drowsy.

I didn't get a good amount of sleep last night so, I'm exhausted. But there's a knock on the door that cuts me off. I get up, annoyed and waddle all the way to the door, I stop to catch my breath before opening the door.

"Omphile?" I frown, staring up at him. "I heard that you're pregnant, I couldn't believe it so I had to come see for myself" He walks past me and into the apartment.

"What do you want here?"

"What do you want here?"
