*3RD Person's POV*
As the oldest of ENHYPEN, Heeseung felt a deep responsibility to ensure their performances were flawless.
He would spend countless hours practicing, refining his vocals, perfecting his dance moves, and pouring his heart and soul into every rehearsal.
However, his drive sometimes led him to neglect his own well-being. He overworked himself in an attempt to perfection, knowing he wouldn't be able to manage it.
It was a particularly hectic week for the group, with back-to-back schedules, interviews, and rehearsals for their upcoming comeback stage.
The members of Enhypen had no time to rest or take a break. They were all running on 5 hours of sleep, so they were all exhausted.
But Heeseung in particular only had two hours of sleep each night as he would go to bed late and wake up extremely early.
Heeseung had barely slept, surviving on coffee and sheer determination. He pushed himself relentlessly, determined to deliver a performance that would leave their fans in awe.
No one else had time to notice Heeseung unintentionally overworking himself as they were all very busy themselves.
As the day of the comeback stage approached, Heeseung's exhaustion finally reached its peak. He couldn't take it anymore.
His body felt like lead, his muscles were aching, and his head throbbed heavily with every movement.
But instead of informing the others or taking a rest, he ignored the warning signs, and pushed through the pain with unwavering determination.
During the final rehearsal before the live performance, Heeseung's body finally reached its limit. As he danced across the stage, his vision blurred, and a wave of dizziness washed over him.
There weren't any staffs around as they were preparing everything else.
He stumbled, barely managing to catch himself before collapsing. His head was throbbing, and he could barely hear anything as his ears were ringing.
The other members rushed to his side; concern written all over their faces. Sunoo quickly steadied him, "Heeseung, are you okay? You don't look so good."
It was obvious Heeseung wasn't feeling well so it was very hard to convince them that he was okay.
Heeseung tried to brush off their worries, forcing a weak smile, "I'm fine, just a bit tired." He said as he tried his best to ignore the constant throbbing in his head.
But no one was convinced. "No, you're not. You're pushing yourself too hard. You need to take a break." Jay stated.
Before Heeseung could respond, a sharp pain shot through his head, and the world spun around him. He felt himself falling, darkness closing in as he lost consciousness.
The others panicked as Sunoo who was standing closest to him quickly caught him before he could fall.
Sunoo quickly laid him on the floor. Jay gently slapped his cheeks in attempt to wake him up. "Hyung." They tried calling him, but it was of no use.
"Someone help me carry him to the dressing room." Jay said, worried. "I'll carry him on my back." Niki volunteered.
After they carried him to the dressing room, they placed him on one of the couches, getting the attention of the staffs.
"What happened to him?" One of the staff asked, quickly rushing over to him. "He just fainted suddenly." Jake replied.
Jay tried slapping his cheeks again to try and get him to wake up as the staff got help, but it was of no use. Only then, Jay realized how pale he looked.
While slapping the side of his face, Jay realized he also has a fever. "He has a fever." He informed the others. "Someone get a wet rag." The staff shouted out.
"Give him some space." She said as the other staff returned with the wet rag. They were all worried for their eldest.
The staff placed it on his forehead. "Turn on the fan or AC." She told the other staff. The six couldn't do anything but just watch as their eldest was being taken care of.
The staff got up before elevating his legs. "Shouldn't we call an ambulance?" Jungwon asked, fiddling with his fingers.
"No, I got this." The staff replied to the younger. Soon, they saw his eyes fluttering open.
When he woke up, he found himself lying on a couch in the dressing room, surrounded by worried faces.
Sunghoon's voice was laced with concern, "Thank god you're awake. You scared us, Heeseung." They were relieved that he was finally awake.
Heeseung struggled to sit up, his body protesting every movement. Jay handed him a bottle of water, "You need to stay hydrated. And you should eat something too."
Heeseung nodded weakly, realizing the gravity of the situation. He had pushed himself too far, ignoring the warnings his body had been sending him.
As the reality of his actions sank in, Heeseung felt a wave of guilt wash over him. He had let down his members, putting his own ambition above their well-being.
He resolved to take better care of himself in the future, to listen to his body and not let his determination blind him to his own limits.
With the support of his members, Heeseung slowly recovered, his strength returning with each passing day.
In the weeks that followed, Heeseung made a conscious effort to prioritize his health, taking breaks when needed and seeking support from his members when the workload became overwhelming.
And as they stood on stage for their comeback performance, Heeseung gave it his all once again, but this time with a newfound appreciation for the importance of balance and self-care.
