Y/N's POV

"Jen, don't cheat on me." My voice was shaking. I didn't want to accept the truth. I don't want this to be the truth.
"Calm down, Y/N, you're overreacting. This is nothing."
"How can you say THIS IS NOTHING? You slept with another girl, and you say that's nothing. I'm not blaming you for having a dinner with other girl, I- I'm-" Tears started to run down my face. I could not believe this is the girl that I used to love.

"Y/N, why are you crying? I told you, this is NOTHING." As she kept talking, I couldn't hold back the tears running down on my cheeks. I hate you, I hate you.. I reiterated in my mind.

"Look up baby, huh? Show me your pretty face.." She said. Her voice was so soft that I was almost tempted to do what she told me to do. No, Y/N, hold on. She's not the girl you used to love before.

"Baby? Look at me, stop crying..." She softly cupped my cheeks, making my eyes meet hers. As our eyes met, I couldn't help but drop my glance. That green eyes filled with fake innocence made me feel even miserable.
"No, no, no.. I don't want you" I shook my head, trying to hide the tears still being formed from my eyes.
"Huh? Then who do you want, Y/N?" She said sarcastically.

Taylor.

The name that popped out of my head was Taylor, but I didn't tell her anyways. I just kept shaking my head, wiping my tears out, saying "I hate you, Jennifer."
She looked shocked. At least she looked shocked. Well, she must be acting, I thought.

"I guess we're done now" I pushed her back, grabbed my bag, then left her house. As I ran down the street, I could definitely feel tears running down on my face. Taylor. I needed her. I pulled out my phone then entered her number with shaky hand. Shit, she's not answering. She must be busy now.. When I tried to hit the end button, I heard her voice calling my name.

"Hello? Y/N?" God, her voice is so soft, unlike who-
"Y/N, are you there?"
"Y- yes, I'm here Taylor..." I didn't mean to, but my voice was shaking as fuck. She would definitely realized that I was crying.

"Y/N, are you crying? What happened?" I could feel the concern in her voice.
"Nothing, I'm fine.. I just wanted to hear your voice-"
"Don't even try to lie to me, Y/N. Tell me, what's the problem?" Her voice was soft, but also so stubborn.

I sighed slightly. "Okay, I.. I just broke up with my girlfriend. I'm so sorry for calling you for these stupid reasons-" My voice started to crack again.
"Don't say something like that, Y/N.. I'm your FRIEND. What are friends for?" Oh, her voice definitely calmed me down.
"By the way, where are you now then?" She asked.

"...On the street, I don't even know where it is.." My voice slowly faded.
"Oh my god, Y/N! Tell me what you can see, I'll come get you now"
"No, Tay, you don't have to do it for me- I mean, I'm perfectly fine, I'll just take the taxi.."
"Tell me what you see." God, she's so stubborn about this.
"Okay, I can see... the 'Cornelia Street' sign"
"Oh so you're in New York? Fortunately, I'm near there so I'll come get you in about ten minutes, how does that sound to you?" I could clearly hear the relief in her voice.
"Sounds perfect. I'd really appreciate that a lot." I smiled softly, though she couldn't see my face.

5 minutes later

A black car stopped in front of me. I knew it was Taylor's, so I smiled slightly. She rolled down the window, smiling at me. "What are you doing? Come in!" Her red lips formed a beautiful arc. "I'd love to" I smiled back, getting into the car. "Thank you so much for coming, you said it'll take like 10 minutes but it only took 5! How did you do that?" I wondered. "Secrets." She chuckled.

"By the way, I feel so sorry for you and Jennifer. I know you loved her a lot... I'm so sorry" "It's okay Tay, I'm completely done with her. She slept with another girl and.. and told me it was nothing. She said, it was nothing..." I told Taylor that I'm fine, but I couldn't help tears running down on my face again. It was not because I missed Jennifer, it was because of the feeling of betrayal. It was because of all the times I spent trying to understand her. I tried to hide my tears, but I guess Taylor was fast. She slowly pulled over the shoulder, gently placing her hand on my face, wiping the tears out.

"Don't cry, baby..." She softly cupped my face, looking into my eyes. As her blue eyes met mine, tears ran over my flushed cheeks even more. However, this time, it was the tear of relief.

"Tay, Tay..." My shaky voice ardently wanted her. "Yes, Y/N, I'm here.." She gently placed a kiss on my wet cheek. I wrapped my arms around her waist. I could feel my tear soaking her clothes, but we both didn't mind.

"Oh, my precious Y/N... She doesn't deserve you, I promise.." Her fond voice filled the air. For me, the moment felt like forever. I buried my face on her chest, hugging her even tightly. "Tay.." I mumbled under my breath. "I can treat you better, baby.." She whispered low, placing her soft hand on my back, rubbing it slowly. "Tay, I love you, I love you.." As I whispered back, I could feel the vibration going through her warm body as she groaned a little.

"I love you too, honey.. shall we go back home together?" She softly smiled.
"Sounds great" I smiled back, kissing on her cheek softly.
"I didn't know that I needed you like this... You're all I wanted" I added.
"Same here" she chuckled. "I love you more than anyone else in the world"
