HIM

"Junior, walk slowly..."

Napapagod na ako kakatakbo, catching up to El Junior, hayst ang energetic niya ngayon. After a few seconds, tumigil naman siya sa paglakad, at parang may inaamoy, "You ok, Junior?"

Napatingin ako sa harap, and saw someone familiar, wait what's her name again? Tangina nahahawa ako siguro ni Senia, nakakalimutan ko mga pangalan. I crouched down and carried Elias Junior on my shoulders.

"Jun?" tumingin naman sa akin ang babae- ah! I remember now.

"Angela?"

"Um, Angeline, but close enough."

Oh...

"A-ah, hi, haha..." Ok now this feels so awkward, tangina... someone help please.

"Di mo kasama girlfriend mo?"

Shit! Where's Senia when you need her?

"Oh um, hindi, we broke up. Uh anyways... nag-jojogging ka pala dito?" I said, trying to divert the subject.

"Yeah, tagal na din but pumupunta lang ako dito ng two to three days."

"Ahh..."

"Ikaw? Do you often walk your cat here?"

"Nah, I got some free time today so I decided to bring Junior out on a walk."

"Mabuti ka pa may free time ngayong araw..."

I was about to just smile and leave but she suddenly stopped me.

"Hey, since you and your girlfriend broke up, do you wanna hang around?"

".... uhhh, sorry but uhh- I like someone right now." I said.

Fuck....

I looked away, petting Elias Junior's head, "I need to go."

"Do you really like someone? Or are you just making that up?" Tangina naman oh.

"I do, she's from AIT."

"What's her name?"

"Shannen Rodriguez."

She became quiet after that, nakita ko naman tumaas kilay niya doon, making my brows furrowed, her lips seeming to be stopping herself from laughing which kinda made me annoyed.

"Her? You're kidding right, don't you know she has a boyfriend?" She said- wait she knows her? What the fuck, ok I didn't expect that.

"They broke up, and what's it to you? Why do you care if she's the one I like?" I said, a bit annoyed by the tone of her voice.

"Well... Shannen has a bit of a background... and rinig ko, she's kind of a slut... are you sure papatulan mo ang tao na yun?" I almost rolled my eyes right there.

"And are you really sure you know her that well, to judge her like that?"

"Hala, I wasn't intending to do that, I just told you what I heard about her, and besides, she still does have a boyfriend right now I'm telling you, and that guy deserves someone better than a slut like her... so don't waste your time liking her."

Ok, fuck this girl.

"Shut up, don't be so quick to badly judge someone you barely know.." I said, at umalis kaagad ako ng walang paalam, habang bitbit si Junior.

"Tsk, grabe siya Elias Junior noh." I heard him meow, I shook my head and continued to walk away.
