Homecoming was arriving soon and Echo was completely flustered about the fact they still had those events. Gerade had come waltzing back to her once it was homeroom, and he looked even more handsome than ever today.

“I see you’ve been ignoring my requests.” He simply commented as many girls eyed him as if he were some new product of candy.

“Like I really care.” She muttered trying to ignore him, but flinched feeling a pinch at her shoulder then looked over to see his thumb and index finger holding a pinch motion revealing it was him who had pinched her.

“I think you should start.”

“If this is your idea of trying to become friends, I really think you should read a book or talk to one of your group of women.”

“What women?”

“Nevermind.” Echo muttered and attempted to ignore him but failed many times since he just kept poking her shoulder.

“Your too soft.” He mumbled causing her to swipe at his hand to make him stop.

“Stop that.” She spoke quickly then got up and nearly ran out of the room when the bell rang, she was extremely excited for Graphic Arts but forgot that Gerade has the same class with her. Only thankfully he sits far away from her space.

Echo wandered through the halls for her next class; Creative Writing. She always did like writing since it was a great pass time, but she always had this problem of writing something that was turning out great then just stop and never continue. Entering the classroom she looked around to notice people mutter while glancing towards her, by not it didn’t bug her. Today they had to turn in their first draft of a story they had to make based on Fantasy. It was in a way silly, but Echo enjoyed it. If anything was writing, she would enjoy it.

“Hello Ms. Euthiski.” Ms. Qaruti greeted Echo as she entered; Ms. Qaruti was the only teacher besides Mr. Lindberg who was ever nice to Echo. So Echo always enjoyed this class, but if it was only her and no other students it would be perfect. Alas, her dreams are being feasted upon so literally, she can’t dream. Not even about having a class all to herself.

“Hello.” She quickly ducked her head with a nod then took her seat in the front since no one ever really took seats in the front, at times it had it’s pros, but mostly it had it cons. Being at the front meant you were being watched all the time, but sometimes you were seen as a hard working student so the teacher wouldn’t pick on her all the time, but it depended on the teacher most of the time.

“Alright class, I would like you to turn in your first draft of the story you’re making.” Ms. Qaruti smiled while scooting away from her desk, the thing about Ms. Qaruti is that she was always glued to her swivel chair. Sometimes she would just sit at her desk and spin for the amusement when grading. Ms. Qaruti is an . . .amusing teacher to watch. Not anything like Mr. Dukt.

“Let’s see, good.” She looked up after counting the packets of paper, “All of you have turned in your assignments which is great.

Many of the students just listened to her as she continued to talk, but soon the lesson turned into free time which turned into movie time. Class was always like that, she would give you an easy assignment and most of the time give you an A. It was surprising that you ever learned anything, but the movies helped with story lines and plots. So it was in a way fun learning.

“Where are you going?” Gerade questioned while jogging around the track following Echo, and oddly a group of girls were just feet behind them.
