I noticed that we all have schedules… I mean that’s our nature! That’s how God created us! God has schedules! … This got me thinking:
Our hearts are scheduled to be there! Wait… Scheduled? Being scheduled to be somewhere means that we ‘need’ to be there. And yes, we ‘need’ God. We ‘need’ Jesus! We ‘need’ a healthy heart. But that’s not all that God wants… To have heart, means to be dedicated, loyal, respectful, courageous, faithful, lovable, and to have perseverance. But to have heart, also means to ‘want’! God don’t just want us to ‘need’ him. God wants us to ‘want’ him! If we pass up God for something we’re scheduled to need, that’s fine. But if we pass up God for something we want, we need to set aside our scheduled wants to want him more than anything else. A relationship with God or anyone else is not a schedule. But have heart! One schedule God doesn’t have is a schedule to love us. Do you have heart for God and His people? Do you have heart for your heart?
