Person of this gene : The Affixed
Role : people of this gene mainly work in accounting or teaching jobs from their lack of any other skills. The Affixed are usually bullied throughout their childhood due to their lack of an apparition, they may also face prejudice in the workplace, although there are laws to stop this, police corruption is rather commonplace.
Wisp :
Person of this gene : The Glow
Manifestation : tentacles protruding from the owner, displays and is reactive to emotions ; detecting when an emotion is false. Although only other glow's can notice which emotion the user is portraying.
Role : people of this gene are often therapists or mental health specialists, although some may also be teachers.
Sentinel
Person of this gene : The Warden
Manifestation : a humanoid that can detach from the owner and paralyze organisms, including other apparitions.
Role : The Wardens are typically the police force, however there are some who have gone rogue and started a life of crime. There are also some who decided to go on a path of medicine and science, using their paralysis to help study certain functions of micro organisms.
Desire
Person of this gene : The Passion
Manifestation : the owner's hand morphed into any animal, it's strength is determined by the desire the user has to perform a certain action.
Role : The Passion usually work labor-intensive jobs, such as engineering and/or construction. Due to their strong apparition, they are reported as around 80% of all bullying cases in schools, and 45% of gang violence, despite making up just 60% of the total population.
Primal :
Person of this gene : The Hated
Manifestation : fleshy ghosts, often incorporating elements of hatred and rage, these ghosts will often perform intrusive and often violent fantasies in the owner's mind if not controlled properly.
Role : The Hated are usually taught to control their powers at a young age, although not much is known of them since most specimens run off into the outskirts of town during their adolescence, the few Hated that don't often live in the more rural homes or homeless shelters.
Extinct :
Seraphim
Person of this gene : The Divine/ The Pure
Manifestation : Eyes and wings around the user, sometimes attaching onto the user, helping dispel dust and plague
Role : Thought to be extinct long ago, they now live in tribes beyond the outskirts. Previously revered as deities, they were expelled from the main city as suspected witches, all known people with the Divine gene have died.
