Tee blinked. He looked around before looking down, rubbing his hands over his jeans, feeling both awkward and anxious with the two pairs of curious eyes boring holes at him. Finally reaching his limit, he shot up from the seat.
"Eh, I'll make tea" With that he sprinted away, almost bumping into Tae who was bringing out the chest with his dad's paintings and manuscripts.
Tae chuckled in amusement and went to hand over his dad's treasures. His mom sat, impatiently waiting for her husband to stop inspecting his things so she could talk about the elephant in the room, in the present case, the scared little bunny that just ran away. But since her husband showed no sign of giving up any time soon, she elbowed him.
"Oh, do you only care about your painting? Are they more important than your son's lover? We just met the boy our son is dating! At least pretend to show concern!" she huffed at him before hurrying towards Tae. "Tell me you haven't gone and kidnapped the little boy, he's a little boy, for God's sake!" she looked him up and down with a frown. "Tell me what you did to him, the poor kid's scared out of his mind"
Tae blinked. "What are you thinking?" He quirked a brow. "He had a problem with his current living space so he moved in here, willingly! Damn it, I don't need to force someone on a gunpoint, besides, I was staying at my office all this time, I only came back tonight to pack for the meeting in Shanghai! Geez, is this woman really my mother?" he wondered and got smacked by his mom.
"Well, you do when he looks like that" she jerked her head towards the kitchen. "He's a catch and out of your league!" she huffed and then eyed him. "You really didn't do anything to him?"
Tae blinked. Then he leaned down to her level, smiling mischievously. "Explain anything"
And again she smacked him. "You idiot! It's not that we're conservative or anything or that we oppose your relationship but-"
"Oh, quit it already, do you support or oppose it, make up your mind!" her husband interfered and he seethed, pointing an accusing finger at him.
"You! Focus on your paintings" she snapped at him.
"Oi, first you tell me to focus on them, now you say focus on this, make up your mind!" her husband retorted and she gasped, pointing a finger at him.
"You! You, shut up!" she snapped and then turned to her son. "And you! Hope you understand, he's a student at our university and... frankly, he looks like a minor!"
"Our son won't do something to a minor! Have a little faith, you gave birth to him!" her husband interjected again. Then he turned to Tae. "He's not, right?"
"Oi. believe me, it's not that I gave birth to him that I'm worried of, it's the fact that you made him is what drives me crazy! How did I even fall into your trap?"
Her husband gasped, almost jumping and pointing an accusing finger at her. "Exactly who trapped who?"
Tae sighed and stepped into the middle of the battlefield, blocking both their lines of sight and patting his dad's shoulder. "You two, come to an agreement while I go check on the little bunny you scared away!" with that he left them to bicker and went to the kitchen where Tee was hyperventilating and jumping in a frenzy.
His eyes fell on Tae and he let out an inaudible squeal before running around.
"What happened?" Tae asked in amusement as he hurried to try and hold the poor thing in his arms but Tee shook his head fast and threw hands.
"Your parents are here!" he squealed in an adorably cute tone and Tae slowly shook his head.
"So?"
"So? So? So~?" Tee hyperventilated, voice cracking. "So... they... they are here! They saw me here... they're here, they're teachers! My teachers! And they saw me at their son's place! What would they think of me? What do I do? Aaah! This is crazy! Uncalled for!"
