As well known, the people/stickies die and turn into spirits, also known as "wandering soul". The spirits are the ones of decreased that couldn't go to Heaven, Hell or reincarnate for one reason or another. Few of these reasons can be that the deceased has some unfinished business to do, often being revenge if they've been killed by someone. Another reason can be that the decreased has a wish they couldn't fulfil, so they will wander in the world, looking either for a body to possess or a person/sticky with "Soul seeing" which is a type of magic that allows the certain person/sticky to see the Wandering souls and hear them.
These wandering souls will come in only two forms, black and white (sounds hella racist but bare with me).
White souls: White souls are also often depicted as angels or angel like. There are often flowers or/and leaves covering the soul's eyes to hide the identity. Their apperance is fully colored and often the cause of death or/and wounds are depicted as bandaged or healed to faint scars. It also applies often to souls that have been "Good" when alive.

Black Souls: On the other hand, a black soul is basically a floating body covered in black goop that keeps dripping, their wounds or/and cause of death are bloody looking, almost immitating blood. The soul's eyes are often wide, without irises or pupils, plain white, sometimes even depicted as crying. Their mouth is also wide, sometimes a wide smirk, sometimes a wide frown, depends on the soul having been good or bad when alive. Black souls are alot more common than white souls, because they are mostly called out by the deceased being a bad person/sticky or being killed by someone, doesn't matter if on accident or purposefully.
