A toys old friend

Chapter one. Almost losing him.

Joel's Pov.
We being Lizzy, Myself, Scott Fwip, Gem, Shubble, Joey, Kathrine, pixel, Sausage and False arrived at tumble town. I noticed the wallpaper was still up. We walked through the door, immediately seeing a flourishing market, after we'd arrived home and Jimmy had found out about the underground market he had closed himself off, losing the aura we grew to love. I walked over to a female and asked. "Would you happen to know where Jimmy is?" she looked at me strangely, "jimmy?" a male voice asked from the next stall walking over, his black hair pulled up a black hat on his head. It wasn't as nice as Jimmy's sheriff hat but it was fancy. "As in the sheriff" he asked, his eyebrow rising. "Yes, if you know where he is we want to talk to him." Scott replied. "He's probably on the other side, he does live over there and with the ongoing issues with the tumbletown bandits, he's probably at his office" as the man finished his sentence and the bell went off. The man ran off pulling a sword out. He met a blade head on. The woman ushered us inside and upstairs where there were other women, a few men and a few children. "Why are we up here?" sausage asked. "The bandits have brought the fight over here and with that bell it marks the sheriff's warning.

Eeros pov
Jimmy and I ran head on into battle, slashing and firing arrows. He took one then two then three. As I also began to fight more and  until there was only one left. I knew one was around but I didn't know where. Jimmy rang the bell and the market stall owners and others began to come out and I noticed the rulers of the other empires were here then I saw it. An arrow headed straight towards Jimmy's turned back and I softly began to sing the song my brother hand sang for me all those years ago. "Consuming all the air inside my lungs, Ripping all the skin from off my bones I'm prepared to sacrifice my life I would gladly do it twice" as i began to run again i repeated "Consuming all the air inside my lungs Ripping all the skin from off my bones
I'm prepared to sacrifice my life. I would gladly do it twice. "Jimmy turned, hearing the tune that he knew I never wanted to hear, again. As the arrow entered my chest just below my ribcage I heard Jimmy's desperate "NO" the twang of a bow string and falling and someone's warm arms wrapping around my torso then I fell unconscious.

Jimmy's pov.
I turned around just slowly enough to see the arrow enter Eeros torso, his locks of dark gold hair falling around his face "no" I shouted , drawing my bow and pulling a tracking arrow. Something I made myself, it would hunt him until it entered his body most of the time in dangerous places such as the skull, heart or stomach they would then latch there, ripping things into their skin and making it painful to remove. I then ran to Salem's unconscious body,  Salem isn't his name, it's just what I call him for the sake of making his name easier. I caught him as he fell. "I need a potion of instant health and regen ASAP" I shouted. Almost immediately they were thrown into my hands and I began to drip them into his mouth. I noticed the 'concerned' faces of the other emperors who had come out of the tavern as I gently removed the arrow from his stomach, as the healing potion did its work i wrapped the wound before gently shifting his head into my lap. I continued to pour the health/regen potions into his mouth. Then his eyelids began to flutter. I picked him up gently walking over to the other side of town i noticed the other emperors were following us. I walked into our shared house a laid him down on his cot. Replacing his coat on my own. Knowing something about him that no one else knew. I was tired. Exhausted, but there was no way i could sleep now.
