Entertainment on night two at The Ocean Club Hotel and Spa was Karaoke, which was something that Charity always avoided and refused to take part in.

Standing up on stage and singing any song in front of unblinking eyes was never something she would be comfortable with. But, being in the audience judging others as they embarrassed themselves with tunes from Abba or Whitney Houston, was definitely a pass time that she could get behind.
After tea, which went down a treat with plenty of dessert, Charity and the kids picked out a table close to the bar area on the hotel grounds and played a game of cards as they waited for Vanessa, Tracy and Johnny to join them.
The night air was cooler than the one before as a gentle breeze made its way in from the sea. Charity's hair had danced in that breeze and strands of her dirty blonde locks had stuck to her lip gloss as a result of it. After a few minutes of picking at it and pulling it back, she finally gave up fighting the wind and tied her hair up into a ponytail.
That night, she'd opted to wear a pair of white trousers and an olive green blouse. The glow of the green satin material complimented the subtle tan she had caught in the sun. Noah and Sarah lounged in the plastic chairs, overenthusiastically playing a game of snap with Moses. Each time a pair appeared on the table top, all three of them shouted 'snap' loud enough that it was drawing attention from other guests.
"Shh," Charity hissed at them as she felt the eyes of grumpy elders boring into the back of her head. The kids mostly ignored her protests for silence and continued playing their game, giggling and squawking as the fun continued.
When Johnny came bouldering over in his trainers, an old woman to the family's right tutted audibly.
"Hey, Johnny" Charity cooed as the grinning child pulled up a seat beside her.
Vanessa and Tracy had been just behind him and were laughing amongst themselves at something as they took the last two empty seats at the table.
Charity caught Vanessa's eye and smiled warmly at her.
"Hi," She breathed, intending her greeting to them both as they got comfy beside her.
"Tracy's just booked the three of us on a train ride up the mountain to see some oranges" Vanessa said to Charity, nodding her head at Johnny to include him in her description.
"A train ride to see what?" Charity asked, an unimpressed scoff accompanying her words.
Tracy rolled her eyes and had the decency to look embarrassed as she attempted to explain herself.
"Stop it, it sounded really nice and educational. Luis said the views are to die for" She blushed, but Charity could tell there was more to this story than she was letting on.
"Who's Luis?"
"The guy selling the dream" Vanessa answered for her.
"Oh, right. And was Luis, I don't know, an attractive young guy by any chance?" Charity asked.
"No. He was a very attractive young guy, actually" Tracy mumbled, hiding her pink cheeks behind her hand.
"I thought as much. Only a gorgeous Spaniard could get a girl weak in the knees enough to want to waste a morning looking at fruit" Charity laughed.
"Half a day, actually. We have to be at the meeting point at 8am" Vanessa sighed, already sensing how tired and hungover she was going to be.
"Well, rather you than me" Charity shrugged, "we're having a lie in tomorrow and then I promised Moses some time on the beach. I was conned into paying €7 for a bucket and spade earlier"
"Daylight robbery" Vanessa gasped playfully, drawing her hand to her mouth.
"That's what I said" Charity replied, before swatting her arm as she later sensed Vanessa's sarcasm.

A bald Scouse man kicked off the karaoke with a rendition of 'You'll never walk alone', which to most people would feel like an end of the night kind of song, but not to Andy from the Wirral. Scattered applause from the guests and cheering from his wife saw Andy off the stage and replaced by a twelve year old girl from Bristol. The nervous child stood with hand shaking as the track began to play, before the inappropriate lyrics of a hip hop song found a lot of the adults in the crowd grimace.

"That's my queue to go to the bar" Charity quipped, collecting the empty beakers from the table as the child attempted to twerk on stage.
"I'll help" Tracy announced and rose to her feet.
Juan's eyes lit up as the two women appeared before him at the bar.
"Buenos, Senoritas" He sang, his teeth sparkling under that monstrous moustache.
"Hola," Tracy shouted over the music. "Three margaritas please" she added, propping her elbows upon the bar. Juan glanced down at Tracy's chest.
"Is that all I can do for you?" He asked, flirting.
Tracy ran her fingers through her hair. "For now" She replied.
Charity stood shaking her head.
"How about you? I get off at eleven" Juan asked, turning his attention to Charity with a wink.
"You have as much chance with me as you do with Megan Fox" Charity told him, pulling a face as he listened intently.
"High chance then" Juan joked, which made Charity laugh.
She took her drink from the bar and took a sip before walking away. It was strong, which she was glad about because the karaoke was already starting to get on her nerves.
"He thinks he's onto a winner" Tracy chuckled.
"Who does?" Vanessa asked, glancing back at Juan who waved from the bar.
