A  𝓖𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓼𝓸𝓷 𝓗𝓪𝔀𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓷𝓮 fanfic

. . . . . ╰──╮ PRESENTING╭──╯ . . . . .

Amelia's life was never easy, not by a long shot. She had two crappy jobs as a waitress and a babysitter, but she managed to scrape by at the end of the month to help her older half-sister Libby and her younger sister Avery, whom she adored more than anything.

Gradually, she had lost faith in the world, but she continued to laugh and have fun to show her younger sister that the world wasn't such a horrible place if you shaped it to your liking. Amelia gave everything she had to her sister, just as she had promised her mother.

Amelia's mother was a special person to her. They were very close and always played many games together, but one of their favorites was "I have a secret".

The game was simple: you would think of a secret and try to guess the other person's secret. Even though she always tried to choose her deepest secrets, her mother always guessed them. She always guessed that Amelia stole some sugar packets from the café where her mother worked, or that after school, she would give her lunch to the stray cats and her best friend Harry, the homeless man who taught her how to play chess.

Her mother's secrets weren't so basic or childish. Every time, she gave her the same clue, which was burned into Amelia's brain.

"I have a secret about your childhood"
