"Please don't leave Daddy!" I cry as I hold onto my father tightly. " I don't want to stay with Mommy she's a meanie!" I sob as my sister Evangeline and my mom stand there. My mother gently pulls me away from him whispering in my ear "I'll let you have extra desert tonight hm?" I sniffle glancing up at my mother " Okay momma." I whisper giving my father one last look he picks up his bags and leaves the apartment quickly. Our shrunken family stares at the door as if he would come back in and proclaim he didn't want to leave. That never happened obviously. I remember that day with all my heart, it plays over and over again in my head like my favorite song. Life went on and we gradually lost all memory of Dad. I don't think Evangeline and Mom minded, if they weren't mother and daughter, they would have been best friends. My mother tries to include me, but Evangeline has that charm and feeling about her that makes you want to be around her. She always knows what to do and what to say. It almost seems as though she has no secrets but as we all know that is not true. Everybody has something to hide.
