The beeping of a monitor pulls me out of my unconscious state, my eyes flutter open and I press the red button on the side of the bed. I gently sit up, wincing in pain.
My hand reaches for my now smaller belly, my jaw clenches as tears cloud my vision. The door opens and Rea steps in wearing her coat holding a file in her hand. "Welcome back to the land of the living mama bear" She sing-songs.
"Where are my babies?" I croak out. "Haibo, lo muntu... You've been out for a month and that's the first thing you ask?" She scoffs. A month? "Where are my children Reabetswe?" I ask once again.
"They're okay, don't worry about it. I'll have one of the nurses bring them in, congratulations by the way." She winks.
"H-Have you told Samkelo?" I dryly swallow."I almost told him but I couldn't find it in me to betray you, he still has no idea about them. But you have to tell him soon, he's been looking around for you and it's driving him insane" She states.
"I will" I lowly mutter. "I've already informed Ona on your recovery, she'll be here soon" She adds and I nod. "When can I go home?" I inspect my body, checking for any injuries.
"I'll just have to monitor you for the night and make sure you're okay before I can finally discharge you and the babiesz we had to keep them in because they were a few weeks early and baby number three was not able to breath on her own because of a case of underdeveloped lungs"
"Can I see my babies now?" I frown. "Of course" She walks out and returns a moment later with a nurse pushing three cots in. I use up most of my strength getting up and walking over to where they're situated.
A huge grin pulls onto my face as I stare down at them. My hand reaches for baby number one, lifting him up to my arms. His tiny hands grip onto my hospital gown. A tear manages to slip down my cheek and I quickly wipe it.
The door opens and Ona waltz in, carrying a bouquet of flowers and multiple gift bags. I put the baby down and she quickly hugs me, sniffling. "Don't you ever scare me like that again" She threatens whilest trying not to cry.
"I'm sorry" I hug her back. "I shouldn't have left" She keeps on muttering. "Ona... Stop blaming yourself, I'm fine aren't I?" I sigh. "You weren't fine Minnie, you were in a coma for four weeks."
"But I'm fine now aren't I? Let's stop talking about the past" I groan. "Mxm. Atleast these three kept me company" She points to the three babys, babling in their cribs. "Thank you, for keeping an eye on them for me" I add.

Ona's now driving us home from the hospital. I had to be kept in for two days just for observation and I couldn't wait to leave that place. Rea was a little reluctant on letting me go, saying that Samkelo's still probably searching for me but I think I'm ready for him to find out about the triplets.
"We really need to go baby shopping"I say as we cary the babies into the apartment. "And apartment shopping" I add and she nods in response. She unlocks the door and we walk in.
I head down to my room and gasp when I open the door. "Ona..." I trail off. "You did all this?" I ask, looking around the room. "Yes... Do you like it?" She grins. "Ona, I love it. Thank you" I hug her. "I don't know what I'd do without you"
"I don't know what I'd do without me too" She confidently says. I laugh, shaking my head at her. I place the two babies in my arms on the newly installed cribs on the side of my room.
"Where'd you even get the time and money to do all this?" I look around the room. "It was all your money... You're a CEO now, remember?" She shrugs. "I-Is Tata..." I choke out.
"Oh no, the old man's still alive. He's happier now, he came to visit you at the hospital a few times. I've never seen him cry that much Minnie, you have to go visit him and fix whatever's going on between you two" Sho orders and I nod.
"I will..."
"Good, you also need to talk to Samkelo so you can schedule a ceremony for these babies so he can also pay damages for them. We can't keep him in the dark forever, he deserves to know. He loves you Minnie and he's been searching everywhere for you"
"Some girl named Sima has been calling you every single day. Ma'Lwethu came to the hospital to see you. Everything's a mess, your mom fled the country with three million rands worth of your father's money. Omphile's taking over the business next week"
"That all happened in a month?" I frown. "Yes... You missed out on a lot" She shrugs. "And what have you been up to?" I suspiciously look at her. "Me?... Uhm...." She clears her throat. "Onalerona" I give her a look.
"I've been seeing Sbonelo... But I haven't told him anything about you and being hospitalized tho. He's clueless." I sigh in relief.
"What about... Samkelo?" I find myself asking. "That man loves you Minnie" She simply says. "Ohh" I says knowing that's it's not the truth. "He doesn't love me". "Minnie" She sighs. "He doesn't love me Ona... He doesn't, he used me" I mutter.
"Then why has he been going around the whole province searching for you? He has been here eight times this month, he almost killed me once" She clears her throat. "I'm sorry-" She cuts me off. "I'm fine" She hugs me. "I love you" She mumbles. "I love you too" I hug her back.
