Chapter 15

"Calu-"

I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even move. I was standing there in the middle of the hallway, my head looking to my left, Room 877.

I walked over to the room. The door was now closed, i only saw Calum when the nurse came out. As far as i can remember, Calum was full of bandages, basically everywhere on his body.

I walked over to the room. Slowly, Step by step. Breathing every step. I held out my hand to open the door. Here i am, not knowing what i would find.

"Molly?" A familiar voice calls out

I turned around and saw John. I gasp and couldn't move (again) what was he doing here?

"Wha- what are you doing here?" I asked

"Oh, my mum got in an accident." He answered

"Wha- what kind of accident?" I said

"Oh, don't worry about it. Its just a minor accident, she slipped while cleaning the house and broke her arm. She'll be fine." He says with a warm smile

"Tell her I said hi and John, I hope she gets better soon" i said

"Yeah, thanks. What about you? What are you doing here?" He asks

"Um..." i turned my head to look at room 877, Not sure what to say

"Who's in there?" He asks again

"Um... i- i don't know, i mean... i- i'm not sure." I manage to say

"Well, what are you doing here then?" He asks

"Oh, Its Kim. Kim's sister." I said

His phone suddenly rang. Thank God.

"Oh, excuse me.. see ya later Moll." He said as he answered his phone and walked away.

Now, i was alone. Frozen, Like my feet were glued to the floor. I turned around slowly and held my hand out once more.

I pushed the door open slowly.

Squeek..
Squeek...

I took a step forward and looked at the patient carefully.

"I'm sorry miss but only the patient's family are allowed inside. What's your relation to the patient?" The nurse said

Calum. It was really Calum. Wrapped in bandages on his head, stomach and legs. I lost my breathing. I started breathing heavily and started to whimper.

"Miss?" The nurse says

I forced myself to stop crying and ran outside. It's not true. It couldn't be true. Why would Calum be in there? Why would Calum be wrapped up in bandages all over? Why? Why? Why?

I stopped at the middle of the hallway. Not knowing what to do nor where to go...

Luke.

I took my phone out and called Luke.

He wasn't answering. I dialed again.

Ring

"Please pick up. Luke. Please pick up. I need you." I said quietly to myself

Ring...

He still wasn't answering so i texted him to come to the hospital instead. I sent out 3 messages to him to come quick.

I pulled myself together and walked over to a waiting room nearby. Moments later , my phone started to ring. I hoped it was gonna be Luke but it was Kim.
