00. Chapter zero

ooo. Uhh i don't remember most of the Chasm Delvers World Quest, so i used a guide and my (small) memory, so im probably just going have to go off that 🧍🏻‍♀️
ooo. She isn't featured in the Chasm Delvers World Quest all that much(with interactions with the traveler), but she is in the Perilous Trail

ooo. at the chasm's of Liyue, it was around the morning time- And as of now, the miners were still working, though of course now there wasn't as much work, well. There was still plenty work needed to be done, it was more so that there wasn't as many miners. Probably because the conditions and worry for safety was making all the less brave miners even more worried than before.

Now, while one light teal haired girl with hair hair with fading whites in her hair as the long hair that reached to the bottom hem of her pink detailed shirt, was in two pigtails, held by large pink looking bows. She was currently hiding behind a cart with rocks filled in them, a playful smirk playing on her lips as she hid behind it. The girls eyes watch some miners carefully before she began to quietly sneak up to the NPC looking miners before she popped into their sights, "BOO!!" She yells quickly, making the two miners jolt as she snickers at him

"You almost gave us a heart attack, Yao Gui!!" The miners tell her, feigning shock, making the young girl laugh Flamboyantly, her hands infront of her mouth as the two miners seemed to not mind her childish tendencies, "hehe~! Another success!! Bye, bye mr. Miners!!" She laughs as she waved at them with her small hands before turning and running off

"Yao Gui can be such a little troublemaker" the miner with brown hair laughs, a hand on his hip as the other nodded his head in agreement, "yeah, but it's pretty normal for a kid like her to act like that" the other with black hair agrees, "yeah, she actually acts more like a child than you'd think. Y'know with what she actually is, it's still pretty shocking a-" the brown haired man goes to say when another miner yells at them to get back to work, cutting them off from their conversation, "yes sir!" The two yell as they return to their work

The young girl, whose named Yao Gui apparently, was skipping towards a cave, "secret passageway to under Chasm~" she sing-songs out as she skips, a hum exiting her lips as her hair bounces up and down. The plain pink, white, and yellow boot like shoes she had on making small tip-taps, she passes by some monsters known as hilitrual( im probably spelling it wrong 💀 ) just ignore her as she goes through a secret passageway that other monsters seemed to know exists as well, go down it with some weird aura that she seems to grow ponder at it, 'hm?? What's with that black aura around the monsters as of late?' Is what she questions to herself internally when suddenly, the entire Chasm began to shake, making her wobble a bit before it stops.

She snaps her head from the monsters to down at the ground, "are you alright chasm??" She asks as she tilts her head, her brows furrow as she pursed her bottom lip forward as the other monsters with that aura walk past her or around her. Something like that

"Get better" she tells the chasm as she kneeled and patted the ground( SHE'S A CHILD OKAY ) before popping back up and returning to skipping down towards the under Chasm

Then, once again, there was another soft shake of the chasm, making her stop again, "did you eat something you shouldn't have Chasm? Maybe doctor baizhu can get you medicine for your upset stomach" she says as she nods to herself, almost pridefully as she shook her head, "back to going to the under chasm Yao Gui! Those mean old researching people from the land of Dendro are sure to come back soon!" She snaps herself back by slapping her face

Then, there was another shake, and this time she just frowned at the fact before brushing it off to run towards the under chasm so that she could go down there to most likely hide from the people she spoke about
