was she uncomfortable with the pink haired males presence?
quite the opposite.
perhaps it was uncertainty, but uncertainty of what?
her feelings? the abnormal heart rate she felt around him? maybe the fact that her skin heated up when they made contact?
maybe all of the above. whatever it was, she needed to ask him urgently.

she approached the area where the national japan soccer team practiced, her brother giving her access to the said field.
as she walked onto the lime green synthetic grass, her e/c eyes peered around for the male who had made her extremely confused.
she laid eyes on him, her face heating up again like yesterday with anri.
the way the clear beads of sweat rolled down his tan skin—his usual grin and laugh every time he scored a goal—her thoughts were immediately clouded.
she had concluded when she got there that she would wait for their practice to be finished, and so she did on the sidelines quietly.

as their practice finished her brother, nagi, and his best friend, mikage, had immediately begun talking to her.
"why're you here again n/n?" nagi asked lazily. "i can't remember..."
"yeah n/n i don't understand. you never come to our prac—" mikage added before being cut off (like always by the twins).
"...i'll talk to you later." she said quietly, urgently shrugging them off so she could talk to the energetic man.
her eyes darted around the field until they zeroed in on a familiar six-foot figure leaving the field.
she immediately darted after it, confusing the two males she left behind in mid-dialogue.
"well that was weird," mikage said, confused by the female's behavior towards himself and her own twin brother.
"she'll tell us eventually," nagi added monotonously leaving to get his bag before mikage could register his words on the odd matter.

she eventually caught up with the mans figure, however she was shocked to say the least when her eyes made out the image before her.
shidou was in the parking lot nearing his car, however someone was there too.
a woman.
a woman she didn't know.
she was all over him—her large chest pushed up against his arm as they walked, it was almost as of she were trying to smother the life out of his muscular arm.
his back wasn't facing hers, however her mind immediately darted to the worst case scenario.
you expected he didn't like you, so why are you surprised?
still left stunned, her mind was a flurry of emotions.
anger, grief, loss—
and most of all betrayal.
the betrayal of the idea that she finally had her own person. someone she could've finally relied on.
