Gregor and The Prophecy of Hope

Falling, falling,  falling,  this is the first time I have fallen to the underland without a flier, other than the first time. I hit the ground with a grunt,  god why does stone have to hurt so much to land on? I use my echolocation to see in the tunnels, I am so happy I practiced.  I make my way towards regalia.  When I reach the arena about an hour later,  it is empty exept for two guards on fliers. "Hey! Can I get a lift to the palace?" I yell up to them. When they see me, one of them almost falls off his flier. "Warrior!  You came back!" He says. The other one yells something that makes me so happy I could die, "Ares! Come give the over lander a lift!  Please!" Ares? But it cant be, he died in that cave when we killed the bane. But there he is swooping down in front of me.

"Y-your alive! I thought you died! Oh man I am so glad to see you!" I say smiling like an idiot.  "Well it turns out the spinners are great at healing large wounds,  at least thats what I have been told, I believe that I learned a few tricks from temp." He says, then makes that "huh huh huh" sound he makes when he laughs.  "I don't care how it happened,  I am just glad you're okay." I say. He really looks okay, his fur has grown over the purple scars from the plague.  "Why did you come back? I thought you hated it down here." He says "I camebecause I missed all my friends,  and Luxa. I did hate it at first, but now I consider it more of a home than the overland. "  I say, this seem to make him happy. I  Jump and he catches me, then we fly to the palace,  I hear lots of people yelling "The warrior!". "How much did I miss?" I ask him, "well there have been small battles off and on with the Diggers, but we think they are going to attack soon, but right now there is a plague,  we have found a cure, but it still takes several weeks to heal the patients.we have had quite a few deaths" He says sadly. "Have any of my friends gotten it?" I ask him "only two" he replies and I hear the saddnes in his voice. "Who?" I ask dreading the answer. "Luxa, and Aurora, but they are both healing. " luxa, has the plague. "Please take me to the hospital" I say.

When I arrive at the hospital, I run to the quarantine section. I see a nurse,  "where is the queen?" I ask forcefully, im not trying to be mean but  I can tell she is scared so I soften up a bit. "Can you please tell me where Luxa is?" She tells me to follow so I do. When I get to luxas room, I see her through the thick glass, she playing a game of chess with Aurora her bond. I lightly tap the glass, Aurora looks up and gasps, then tells Luxa to look. I smile and wave as she turns around. The look on her face is utter  disbelief.  "Gregor! You came back! I told them you would!" She says running up to the window smiling. The nurse come back and says that Luxa and Aurora are fine and can get out.

Once Luxa is out and has bathed, we  decide to go to the arena to catch up and train. We walk into the arena, she tells me about the battles with the Diggers, how the plague spread but its not as bad as the last, just when she starts telling me about Hazard training in the hospital,  a few Crawlers come in through one of the side tunnels.  The scamper over too us and then I see two people following them. They have tan skin and dark hair, overlanders.

Me and luxa rush over to meet them, thats when I see their faces, Chase and Eve.

What? How? Why are they here? "How did you guys get down here?! " I ask, that tunnel doesnt come from the laundry room, it comes from Central Park.  "Do you know them Gregor?" Luxa asks "yes I came with them to New York." I respond. "We were in central park then we were trying to move this rock, when we fell under it. Then there was a tunnel, and that led here, but why are you here? What is this place?" Eve says rapidly.  They are alot like I was my first time down here. "Thats what I thought, I'm here for my friends,  and this place is Regalia. " I say, they look so confused.  "I am Luxa, I know you probably would like to see the place, bit first you need to bathe, we don't need Diggers smelling you." Luxa says. we head over to Ares and Aurora.  "What is that?!" Chase yells "these are called Fliers, in the overland I believe you call them bats, we ride on them. " luxa says "come on guys its fun, they wont drop you. You guys can ride on Ares with me, I don't want to stress Aurora to much since she just got out of the hospital. " I say we all climb on, when we reach the palace we wait in Luxas quarters for Chase and Eve to finish Bathing.

"Luxa?" "Hmm?""can I ask you something" "okay" "do you love me?" Just then chase and eve walk in, they have horrible timing.  "Oh good you  guys smell better" luxa says, I laugh,  under landers and there panic when you smell. "Why did we have to shower exactly?" Eve asks "so that we don't have to fight another war, but we  will probably still have too." Luxa says. "What? I thought you were at peace with the gnawers?" I say surprised "we are, with some of them, but some have sided with the Diggers, and they are still angry" Luxa says "diggers? Gnawers? War? What are you talking about?" Chase asks kinda freaking out.  "Yeah there are always wars down here, that where all my scars came from." I say "Speaking of war,  Gregor I have a surprise for you." Luxa says excitedly,  shes so cute when she excited,  with her Purple eyes, and her pale skin, and silvery blonde hair.

She leads us to the museum.  "What surprise could you possibly have for me in here?" I  ask. "Just go in and look, you will no it when you see it."she says smiling. I walk in, I inspect all the walls, and see it on the back wall, in a glass case, my armor, sword and dagger. The sword is in one piece.  "How did you guys fix it?" I ask, clearly remembering breaking it in half. "We had a new blade put on, identical to the old one." She says. "ok well since you gave me a present then I have one for you. " I say and offer her the dagger. "Oh Gregor I can't Solovet gave it to you" she says but I can tell she wants it "luxa you have always wanted it, and anyway she gave it to me to kill the bane,  but thats done now, also it makes sense for you to have it, she was your grandma. " I give it to her and she slides in into her sword belt. I put on my sword belt and put sandwiches sword in it. "Whats a bane? And why did you have to kill it?" Asked Eve" the Bane was a 16 foot white rat, and it was prophesied that I would kill it, and I did when I was 12." Theres a stunned silence from Chase and Eve, but it is quickly broken. "Oh I did this, I did that, I fought so well." Says  Ripred walking in. "Ripred! How are you?" I ask, Chase and Eve look like they are about to wet themselves.  "Oh im fine, although im missing all those fine treats from La Bella Cormaci, oh well, I have been sent to find you to infor you that it is dinner time. We better be having shrimp and cream sauce." He says then walks away.
