After Delaney leaves the room, she directly goes to a pond near her pack house. After sitting on a bench located in front of the pond, she closes her eyes.
She never thought that Joseph could ask her that question. About her. She backs into her past memory, from where she met her first mate.
Flashback (5 and 1/2 years ago)
Delaney was coming back from work, walking. (Note; An important work, nothing more😉😉) Suddenly, she smelled the most beautiful scent. It was a mix of chocolate and watermelon.
Her wolf was very much talkative then. Elsie purred,
"Uhh! Very nice scent. Follow!"
"Shut up, brat! I am." Delaney jokingly said.
She followed among the deep forest. Then she stopped when she saw a beautiful girl sleeping in the forest.

She walk towards her. Then she slowly yet gently shaking her. She wakes up,
"Ehh..... Who are you?" She asked with her angelic voice.
Delaney was stunned. She said,
"I'm Delaney White. Alpha of Crystal Lake Pack. Plus your mate. Who are you?"
"I'm Martina Holland. From the Stone Moon Pack." She said.
"What are you doing here?" Delaney asked.
"I r-run away f-from my p-pack." Martina shuttered.
"Why?" She shockingly asked.
"T-they abused m-me a l-lot." Martina breaks down.
"Oh darling don't worry. You are now safe. Come with me."
"Where?"
"My pack."
"But-"
"No buts dear. Let's go."
"Ok."
After sitting on Delaney's car, Delaney started driving.
Martina's Point of View
Delaney is so sweet for being a mate. My wolf, Ivy went crazy. But I just have to take advantage of her. I'm sorry Delaney, but I have to take revenge for my parents.
After 1 hour
The car stopped in front of a big mansion, more like a castle. Wow! She came out from the car and said,
"Come."
I come out as usual. She walking towards the house and I followed her. She goes to the living room while everyone was there, gossiping.
"Everyone attention! I just found my mate and she is here. Come Martina, introduce yourself."
"H-hi! I'm Martina Holland. From Stone Moon Pack. Nice to meet you."
"Hello!" Everybody greeted me.
"Nice mate you got, Del." A boy with black haired teased her.
"Yah, Tristan!" She glared at him, who was Tristan.
Fast forward ⏩⏩
At night, a guy leads me to a beautiful room. I guess it's Delaney's. The guy left. I go to the washroom.
After I left, I saw Delaney with her pajamas. I was also in my pajamas. She was laying on her bed. She invited,
"Come."
"Ok."
When I lay on the bed, she strokes my hair. I felt nervous. So I said,
"I-i"m not r-ready yet."
I could feel her disappointment through the mate bond. But she sighed,
"It's okay."
Soon I fell asleep. Darkness got me.
