"What is asexuality?" Mr. Aloha asks his children in all interest and willingness to learn.
It was another fine day in the Aloha household, where the head of the family has a heart to heart discussion with his beloved kids.
Nora and Noel are taken aback for a second. They are amazed by the nature and content of his question. Nora takes a deep breath and calmly answers, "Asexual person is someone who feels no sexual attraction towards anyone."
Her father freezes for a second as if in deep thought and then announces, "I think I am asexual!"
The children are baffled by his response. How could he have reached this conclusion? Wait a minute... Their father has and will always be the master of logical fallacies. So this shouldn't be surprising.
Nora chuckles and replies, "No papa, you can't be asexual. I still remember vividly of all the times you used to check out other women's asses. Remember Assy Jessy?"
Jessy was a senior from Mr. Aloha's college who was infamously known for her ass, hence assy Jessy. Mr. Aloha snickers and almost chokes on his tea as he remembers the creative name he had come up with.
Noel concludes the conversation by adding his share of wisdom, "You are ASSexual."
"That's ridiculous!" Both Mr. Aloha and his daughter exclaim in unison.
Well, it definitely made more sense than him being asexual. Jokes apart, Nora and Noel wonder if the reason behind their father's statement was his low libido? What if it was concerning to him even though he believes he is completely okay with it? It was high time that they discussed this with Mrs. Aloha and reach a solution altogether.
"You know, assy Jessy is NASA Jessy now. She is designing rockets for Mars mission." Mr. Aloha sips his tea and adds smirking to himself, "Her ass alone is enough to bounce her to Mars though." He laughs hysterically at his own joke and is unable to contain himself as he affirms his own assexuality.
All this while, his beloved wife is completely oblivious to this discussion and is busy conducting an online lecture for her students.
