"Samkelo" I whisper when he grasps the door handle, pushing it open. He walks in without sparing me a second glance. I dryly swallow, following after him. He's standing infront of the three cribs, staring down at them.

His face softens and he looks back up at me. "I-I'm sorry" I voice out. He retracts his gaze away from me. I slowly walk towards him. He picks up Liyakhanya and she immediately stops crying, gripping onto him for dear life. "Samkelo" I mutter and he ignores me.

I anxiously bite the inside of my cheek. She calms down and he places her back in her crib. He walks past me and I quickly follow after him. He stops in the middle of the hallway. "Does Rea know about this?"

"I-No" I mutter. "Naledi" He warns. "I asked her not to tell you" He sighs in response. "Why?" He looks defeated. "I-I don't know..." I trail off. "Then what the fuck do you know?!" He shouts. "I'm sorry"

"Apologize one more time, I'm warning you" He chuckles to himself. "I wanted to tell you, I swear. I really did" I try defending myself. "Then why didn't you?!" I flinch at the use of his tone.

"Samkelo please" I plead when he walks towards the door. I follow him, grabbing onto his hand. He pulls it away he clicks his tongue and walks out, slamming the door shut.

I briefly close my eyes, sighing. I head back down to my room to find Liyakhanya smiling with her hands in the air. I pick her up, "Couldn't you hold it in?" I rock her in my arms.

She smiles, showing her gums. I pull out my phone calling Samkelo, he declines and I try again, this time he blocks me. I sigh in annoyance and rub my temple in frustration. I feel myself dosing off so I place her in her crib before going to take a shower.

I come back to find Liyema awake so I change his diaper and breast feed him before burping him and putting him back down. Surprisingly none of them wake up so I get into bed, closing my eyes and letting sleep take over my conscience.

I'm awoken by the sounds of giggles. My eyes flutter open and I look around my room, I quickly sit up when I notice a figure in the distance but calm down when I notice that it's Samkelo?

He's holding Luzuko who's clinging onto him. They don't notice that I'm awake so I just stare at them. Luzuko's giggling and smiling at what Samkelo's saying to him. I slightly smile, getting up from the bed, walking towards them.

He's sitting on the couch, watching Liyakhanya and Liyema as they sleep with Luzuko in his arms. His back tenses when he notices my presence do I take a step back. He stands up with Luzuko still in his arms. I try to reach for him but he refuses, clinging onto Samkelo.

I try to say something but he walks past me, ignoring my existence. I sigh, walking into the bathroom and taking a shower. I brush my teeth, I'm about to get dressed when a cry pulls me back into the room.

I find Liyakhanya tossing and turning, wanting to be picked up whilst Liyema is just calmly staring at the ceiling. I pick up the both of them and walk back into the bathroom.

I bathe them and get them dressed, then I get dressed and walk out of the closet to feed them. Samkelo walks in a few moments later holding a brown paper bag. He hands it to me, I frown opening it.

"Thank you" I say but he ignores me, placing Luzuko down and picks up Liyema and Liyakhanya before exiting the room. I pick up Luzuko, bathing him and walking back into the room.

I have my breakfast and walk down to the living room. I find Ona and Samkelo arguing whilst Liyema and Liyakhanya are giggling whilst watching them from their seats on the couch.

"Minnie, what is he doing here?" She turns to me. "Ona..." I trail off. "Don't 'Ona' me. I don't want him anywhere near me" She storms off towards her room, slamming the door shut. He shrugs, placing the triplets in a stroller that I'm sure he brought with him.

"What are you doing?" I fold my arms over my chest. He ignores me and pushes them towards the door. "Samkelo" I panick. He tries to open the door and I stop him by standing infront of it. He groans in annoyance.

"Move out of my way" He orders. "Where are you taking them?" I heavily breath out. He grabs my arm, pushing me out of the way. "You're lucky I'm not filing for full custody of them, get out of my way"

"Wetsang Samkelo?!... Please don't do this" I walk after him. He shuts the door in my face. I feel tears clouding my vision, I quickly run to Ona's room. "Ona!" I bang on the door. "Onalerona marn. Bula monyako!"

"Ke eng?" She violently opens the door. Tears stream down my cheeks. "Minentle, Ke eng? Bullela, ke eng?" She rushes out. "I-He-" I point at the door. "Minnie... bua marn, ke eng? O entseng? Ke kopa o bue hle" She frustratedly shakes me. "Ona" I mutter, wrapping my arms around her.

"Wa ntshosa" She mumbles. "H-He took them" I hiccup. "Mang? Who are you talking about? Ba kae bana Minnie?" She immediately let's go of me, rushing into the living room. "Minentle bana ba kae?!" She scans the room.

"Samkelo... He took them" She stops moving. "Y-You let him take them?" She almost shouts. "Ona... He threatened to file for full custody. Ha ke na chelete Ona, I won't be able to win that case and you know that" I sniffle.

"I told you tell him about them Minnie, you should've told him" She whispers, clutching onto her hair. "Ke etseng nou Ona? I don't know where he is. He hates me and he's now taking my children away from me" I whisper back.

"We have to call your father and tell him"
