Chapter 19

"Hey" Nayeon said as she answered the call, it was Jihyo.

"Yah! Where are you? It's 9 already" Nayeon looked at her wall clock and sees it's already 9:10 am. She doesn't know what to do, she is still stuck in her condo.

Nayeon was already done changing into her business suit, excited to go to the company. Hmmm I wonder why?

She keeps looking at herself on the mirror conscious at what she look at. This is odd since Nayeon was known for being confident and this is not a normal Im Nayeon behavior.

"Yahhhh! I don't know what to choose" she threw her comb at the floor annoyed as she could not get her desired hairstyle.

"Otteoke" she whispered already sitting down on the floor. Why am I so stressed? This is not her.

She heard her phone ring again on top of the table so she immediately stood up and answered the call.

"Yes?" Nayeon wasn't surprised when she heard Jihyo's annoyed voice.

"Omygosh Im Nayeon! Where are you? It's already 10 and the coordinators and other staff handling this advertisement are already here since an hour ago" Jihyo angrily whispered and to Nayeon's shock she doesn't realized that it's already 10 o'clock.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry Jih! I've been so stressed to choose what hairstyle and suite pairs with me" Nayeon said in a hurry as she put her belongings inside her bag, she could hear a sigh at the other side of the call.

"Gosh, I never thought you'll come to the point like this geez and yeah she's the first one who came to the company" hearing that sentence stopped Nayeon from what she's doing. Oh no....

"Nayeon?" Jihyo called as Nayeon was already silent. If only she knew! She could've prepared yesterday argh!

"Nayeon?" Jihyo called her Nayeon again and it was the time she came back to her senses.

"Uh yes? Sorry about that I spaced out" Nayeon was worried since Jihyo was already quite and it scares her but to her shock Jihyo replied.

"Don't worry, I'll handle the meeting and you" Nayeon was about to say something but she was cut off by Jihyo

"You should prepare something to wear, we're going on a date later, promise?" confused she said yes, Nayeon was about to ask what she meant but Jihyo ended the call.

What? Date? With whom????

She looked at herself and the mess she made and that's when she realized, damn cupid did hit her. She took her scattered clothes on the floor while thinking how could that girl Yoo Jeongyeon have an effect like that to her.

But then she realized what Jihyo just said earlier that she was the first one to come to the company.

Was she there so early so that she can see me? Or talk to me? Assuming.

Nayeon was still embarrassed since she took Jeongyeon to her dirty condo. Jeongyeon was not mad and she was also the one who asked to clean her condo and Jeongyeon slept on her couch while Nayeon was inside her room. She doesn't have the chance to thank her since when Nayeon woke up, Jeongyeon was nowhere to be found.

After cleaning the mess she made, Nayeon slumped herself on her couch. Tired as she listened to the song that was played on the television. It's a song by Carpenters.

She closed her eyes as she hummed together with the song. A figure of a person appeared slowly approaching her with it's short blonde hair waving in the air.
