"Ngelosi yami..." I push him away and face the other direction, ignoring the ringing of my phone. "Olwethu" He groans, tapping the side of my face."Yini?" I snap. "Answer your phone. ibanga umsindo" He rasps out. My eyes flutter open and I look down at the caller ID. Samkelo? I sit up, placing the phone against my ear. "Yini? Uyafa noma...?"
"Mah?" He sighs. "You better have a very good reason for calling me at this time of the day, talk before I hang up" I rub the sleep from my eyes. "I'm about to land, I'll be there in two hours"
"Samkelo... Hang up before I shoot you through this phone" I warn and the line goes dead. Melokuhle gives me a look. "Ha-eh Don't look at me like that, it's barely six" I get back into bed and he wraps his arms around me.
"Melokuhle" I call out and he opens one eye. "I think I have to go back to Western Cape" I state and he groans. "No, you've been a constant visitor of that place. I'm starting to get worried"
"But I told you that Dineo's daughter is pregnant mos and lo Dineo has disappeared, I can't get a hold of her" I shrug. "I thought I told you to stay away from that family" He loosens his grip around me.
"I know but-" He cuts me off. "No buts Olwethu, I can't risk you getting involved with those people... especially Ntando, not when we've just killed his father" . "But he doesn't know. I'll be back in three days, I promise" I pout and he looks away from me. "No"
"But I asked nicely nje" I frown. "You know that I love you but I'm not letting you go to that place" I sigh in response. "Mxm" I get out of bed and walk away from him. "Ngelosi yami" He calls out. "Hhayi ungakhulumi nami"

"Olwethu"
"Sima, Sthandwa sami. Please tell your father that I don't want to talk to him" I continue to sip my coffee whilst waiting for Samkelo to arrive. "Heyi, unyonyoba uyaphi?" I turn to Sabelo who's reaching for the door handle. "Hlala phansi"
"Mah" He sighs. "Hlala phansi Sabelo" I repeat. "This is getting out of hand manje. I've learnt my lesson, can I please just go out?" He pleads. "You'll leave when you turn eighteen" I partly lie. "Baba" He turns to Melokuhle. "Don't talk to me, I'm already in trouble"
"So we're all suffering for your sins?" He sits down. The door opens before they can continue ranting. Samkelo walks in pushing three connected strollers. "And then wena? Who are you babysitting for?" I motion to the three babies in the stroller.
"Mah" He scratches the back of his head. "Haibo, khuluma phela" I urge. "You migt want to sit down for this one" I sit down, motioning for him to starts speaking as I'm growing impatient.
"Izingane zikabani lezi Samkelo?" I fold my arms around my chest. "They're mine" He says. "Askies?" I wince. "They're mine" He repeats and I turn to Melokuhle. "You heard him? I'm not going crazy... Uzwile ukuthi indodana yakho ithini? ...Melokuhle ngiphendule"
"Samkelo... I am going to ask you for the last time, pray that my ears are deceiving me. "Who's children are those?!" I nearly shout. "Mah, I think he said they're his" Sabelo says making me glare at him. "Sorry" He mutters.
"Khuluma wena" I say to Samkelo but Melokuhle grabs my arm, dragging me out of the room and into his office. "Yehlisa umoya, Ngelosi yami" He seats me down on the couch.
"How can I calm down when your children are trying to kill me? Huh? Wavele wangenza ugogo uSamkelo. He got someone's child pregnant, Melokuhle. Not with one but with three damn babies!" I complain.
"I know..." He sighs. "Ngizombulala" I say trying to stand up but he pulls me back down. "You need to calm down" He states. "I can't calm down. Ufuna ukungishaya nge- heart attack uSamkelo." I breath out and he chuckles, placing his lips on my forehead.
"Are you okay now?" I slightly nod. When I get my hands on that child- "Olwethu" He snaps me out of my thoughts. "Yebo, ngiright" I stand up, heading for the door. He sighs, following after me.
I walk back into the living room to see those two traitors all over the babies. I reach to slap Samkelo but he ducks and Melokuhle pulls me back. "Do you want to go back into that office?" He whispers into my ear. "No" I mutter. "Then behave"
I slightly pull away from him. "Who did you get pregnant?" I turn to Samkelo. "Mah-" I cut him off. "Ngizokushaya Samkelo, you're not too grown for a beating yezwa? Who's child did you impregnate?" I click my tongue in annoyance. "Eish"
God so help me before I beat him to a pulp. "Melokuhle, Ingane yakho ngizoyishaya phambi kwezingane zayo. Ngizomshaya uSamkelo" I frustratedly say. "I think we should go back into the office" He throws me over his shoulder, walking back into his office.
"Do I look like someone's grandmother? Every word that comes out of his mouth irritates me Melokuhle. I thought he was the responsible one here, Sabelo could've been the one to impregnate someone first" I tightly clutch onto him. "You're paranoid" He sits down on the couch, pulling me down on his lap.
"I'm too young to be a grandmother" I purse my lips into a straight line. "I don't think we're leaving this office anytime soon" He buries his head into my neck. "I want to meet this girl. I want to talk to her"
"Ufuna ukumshaya naye?" He looks down at me. "Yes... Samkelo's leaving again soon, he can't be going around having children and you also know that" . "He won't be gone forever" He pecks my lips. "Six years is a long time Melokuhle" I mumble. "I know but let's not worry about that right now" He places his lips on mine.
"I think you'd make a great Mkhulu" I mock and he playfully glares at me. "Ngiyadlala nje" I giggle.
