Trigger warning!

Roofie/violenceHector wiped down the counter at his bar, the people for the night were just starting to file in. In truth Hector was only looking out for one person, Griffin. Although he was equally as scared to see him, last time they spoke it felt like he was being flirtatious? Which admittedly made him excited but also sad as he didn't think he was in a good situation for a boyfriend.
The night felt like it was dragging on, until Griffin did arrive that is- then it got significantly more interesting. He must have been dressed extra hot that day because when Hector saw him he felt butterflies explode inside his stomach. Of course Griffin sharing the attraction approached the bar, he almost swayed his hips as he walked or was that just Hectors imagination? He was wearing a tight black shirt with cut outs in the shoulders and sides. And his pants were silky flowing black pants which were flared out at the bottom making it so his converse was playing peek a boo.
"How's your finger?"
"Huh?"
"Your finger, the one you gored on Monday. Is it healing up okay?"
"OH yes it is, thanks again for that." He said lifting his still bandaged finger up to show him. "Do you uh- want a drink?" Hector asked, his demeanor being more similar to the shy boy at the grocery store rather than the usual smooth charismatic bartender.
"Of course, you know what I like." Griffin said, not so subtly looking him up and down as he took a seat on one of the stools. Griffin was almost acting tipsy already, he must of had a few drinks before even arriving. Which did seem weird to Hector, but he shrugged it off as just an extra fun night for him.
"Oh-uh yes two limes." He said almost unsure of himself as he began putting the concoction together. He did not make the usual small talk he usually did, in fact he was much too busy having an internal panic attack about Griffin, fucking Griffin Nguyen his long time crush is actively checking him out and flirting with him. And what was worse was Hector felt simultaneously guilty because he wanted nothing more than to express his interest, but would he even have time for a boyfriend? Even a fuck buddy might be hard to manage. He smiled and placed the drink in front of Griffin.
"Thank you Hector." He said softly as he plucked one of the limes from the glasses, licking up the side of it before putting part of it in his mouth to suck on it. Hector was having a system failure, his hand almost dropped the bottle of liquor he was holding. He fumbled it back into his hands and nodded. "You're welcome.." he said as Griff turned around to walk out to meet some friends of his at a table.
"Excuse me? Hello??" A burly mans voice cut through Hectors obnoxious gawking.
"Yes sir, sorry what um- what can I make for you?"
The night quickly turned very busy, and it honestly felt like the night blinked away. Hector had even almost forgotten about the Griffin still being in the crowd. Maisie had started helping Hector out in the lounge after business picked up significantly. She was mostly in charge of the canned beverage distribution, she was a cute southern belle with big blue eyes and medium length pink and blue dyed hair and a cute white headband keeping her bangs out of her face.
"Hey hun, would ya' mind going to the basement cooler and grabbin' me another 2 packs of Corona? The fellas hoggin' the tv over there are goin' through em like dehydrated camels." Maisie said in passing as she went to the end of the bar to change out a tray. "Don't ya' worry I'll watch the bar." She waving her in a shooing motion.
"Okay, I'll be right back." He said putting his rag down walking around the bar towards the door that led to the stairs.
He wasn't gone a minute before Griffin came sauntering up to the counter, leaning over the bar letting out a groan. "Where'd Hector go?" He asked almost in a pouty way. "Just when things slow down he runs off without me." He said with a small drunk chuckle. Maisie raised a brow and smirked, Hector had ogled at this boy enough to know there was 'something' going on between them. And she loved causing chaos.
