It was just an average day. If you consider fighting undead monsters to the death as a normal thing. "Robin to your left!" Chrom yelled. Robin looked to his left to see an axe coming straight towards him.

He barely jumped out of the way in time and swung his sword to the risen's side. His sword got caught in it's side and he couldn't get it out. Robin tried to get it out as best he could until he looking up and saw the risen rising his axe. "It's not over yet!" Chrom yelled striking his sword in the risen's chest

"Thanks Chrom," Robin said thankful that he was saved. "Don't sweat it, now come on there's more this way" Chrom said sprinting off further into the woods. "Damn how can...he still run off like that?" Robin asked himself still out of breath. Even though it was only a small group of risen Robin was winded and needed to catch his breath. After a couple of deep breaths Robin finds the strength to get up and run after Chrom.

While Robin was running through the woods he began to think about the events that occurred earlier that day. They were escorting Emmeryn to Regna Ferox for her safety. Eventually they were confronted by Plegians and had to fight them off. The wyvern riders flying above the canyon started to become an issue for Sumia and Chrom who was riding with her. Until a Pegasus Rider called Cordelia came into the fray, she seemed to be in a panic warning about reinforcements. After all the fighting was done Cordelia told us that the border was overtaken by Gangrel and she was the only survivor. After that Emmeryn decided to head back to Ylisse to support the people Chrom protested but couldn't change her mind. Right before leaving she gave Chrom the fire emblem and we kept moving towards Ferox until we ran into a horde of Risen.

"I hope Emm is okay," Robin said to himself. Robin kept running until he a pegasus came out of nowhere in front of him. Robin readied his sword thinking it was an enemy pegasus rider until he realized it wasn't hostile at all. When he got closer to it he thought it looked familiar. "Wait aren't you Cordelia's Pegasus?" Robin asked aloud not expecting any kind of reply.

Suddenly it did a short stand and started running. "W-wait!" Robin yelled running after it. "It's leading me somewhere," Robin thought to himself. He kept running after it until he saw a clearing up in the distance and the Pegasus started running even faster. When Robin reached the clearing he a group of 6 risen surrounding a woman. "Wait," Robin said as he took a closer look and saw the woman was Cordelia.

Robin shook his head and ran towards the Risen blade readied. Cordelia blocked an attack from an axe, but the force knocked her on the ground. Another risen was about to swing his sword down on her and Cordelia knowing she wouldn't be fast enough just closed her eyes. She opened them again to see a sword sticking out of the risen's chest before it exploded in a cloud of purple. Suddenly Robin dashed through it and grabbed her and started running away from the risen. After a minute he stopped and keeled to the ground, Cordelia still in his hands. "R-Robin can you put me down?" Cordelia stammered blushing. "Y-yeah s-sorry about that," Robin stuttered.

While Robin was looking down at her in his arms he couldn't help think she looked cute. "W-what am I thinking, were in a battle right now!" Robin scolded himself while putting Cordelia down. What followed after that was an awkward silence that seemed to last forever. Eventually Cordelia spoke up "Um thank you for rescuing me...actually I must apologize to you," Cordelia said. "What? Why?" Robin asked. "Well...I just joined the shepherds and I'm already proving to be a burden to you," Cordelia said looking like she might cry any moment.

"You're not a burden Cordelia," Robin said trying to calm her down. "Is that why you had to come save me?" Cordelia said refusing to look Robin in the face. "If relying on others makes you a burden, then that would mean everyone in the shepherds are a burden by that logic," Robin stated. This made Cordelia look up at Robin giving him her full attention. "The shepherds rely on each other in battle, if we didn't have each others backs we would have far more casualties, and every now again we make mistakes on the battlefield but that's why we all fight side by side, to help you up whenever you falter," Robin finished his little speech with a deep breath.

Cordelia looked back down to the ground, her face covered by her long hair. There was another couple minutes of silence. "Robin," Cordelia said. "Y-yeah?" Robin asked worried that he angered her. "Thank you...again," Cordelia thanked Robin looking up to him with a smile. "Um I really didn't do that much," Robin said being modest. "No you did, you made me realize that I don't have to rely just purely on myself, and...you showed me a kindness that I would never expect, especially from a stranger," Cordelia said while a single tear ran down her face.

"Cordelia..." Robin said not sure on what to say. Cordelia wiped away her tear and started standing up. "How about I repay you by watching your back in the next battle?" Cordelia asked reaching her hand out towards him. Robin smiled and took her hand. "It would be an honor," Robin said as Cordelia helped him up. Suddenly out of nowhere Cordelia's Pegasus came charging at them and trampled over Robin. "ROBIN!"
