The giant snake was defeated everyone was safe and happy well almost everyone.. a little girl by the name of Harumi. Was crying on the street next to an ambulance that had been checking up on her.
"Hmm. So much for the ninja." A nurse said looking into the wind.
Another guy sighs. "Did you see that thing? Lord Garmadon single-handedly destroyed it. He's the real hero." The guy states.
"Brave little girl you are. Where are your parents, child?" The nurse asks clearly in a worried tone.
Dead. The little girl thought.
"Do you have a name?" The nurse questions her.
Harumi doesn't answer. The nurse assuming she has a million thoughts going through the little girls mind.
"Well, aren't you the quiet one. Come on get in a seat and put on a seatbelt we need to get you a place to stay." The lady tells the little girl.
She follows as she as asked to do and they drive away.
Without a second thought about where the little girl was going she noticed there was another kid in the car that looked around her age he had blond hair with vibrant red eyes brighter than she's seen. Even though she's never seen red eyes before. And he's wearing an hoodie that has the number five on it and a skeleton pattern painted on it. She was interested in if that were his actual eye color or if he was just wearing contacts. But before she could ask he beat her to it.
"So why are you here?" The little kid asks staring at the window.
"Parents died." The little girl answered in a not so thrilled tone.
"Mom abandoned me and my father well.." he cut of his sentence and decided not to finish it.
"Oh. Guess we both have no parents then." The little girl says kind of happy to share something with someone even though it's not normal.
"Every kid here doesn't. You do know we're going to an orphanage right?" The little kid asked her confused.
"Oh. Yea I did.." the little girl answered embarrassed.
"Well..uhm anyways what's your name?" Harumi asked the little boy genuinely curious.
"Lloyd." The boy answered.
"Cool mine Harumi but I guess you could just call me Rumi." The little girl told Lloyd.
"You have a pretty name" Lloyd complimented Harumi.
"Oh.. thanks." She thanked Lloyd and maybe she even blushed a bit.
They two kids talked for a while they both got along pretty well and about an hour later they arrived at the orphanage.
"Ok! Kids we arrived!" The lady tells the children.
All of the kids leave the car except Lloyd and Harumi they were to distracted talking to each other to hear the nurse telling them they arrived. But after the lady snapped her fingers in front of them a few times they realized they made it there. They got out and went to their assigned rooms they were giving for the time being.
"Hey Harumi?" Lloyd asked walking into her room.
"Yea?" She responded.
"I have a plan to run away." He tells her in a whisper.
"What?! Why!?" She yells.
"Hey be quiet!" He yells in a whisper.
"Sorry sorry. But why?" She asks again.
"I over heard them talking about the royal family adopting us." Lloyd tells her.
"But isn't that exciting?" She asks confused.
"No! Think about it. You have responsibility over responsibility. You'll be responsible to take care of an entire kingdom in the future and you're expected to be perfect!" He tells her.
"Oh. I never thought of it like that.." she says.
"I know it seems like a dream but to me it isn't so that's why I'm going to leave. Tonight. And I wanted to ask if you would like to join me?" He asked truly hopeful she would accompany him.
"Of course!" The girl answered. She wasn't ready to have an entire kingdom as her responsibility right after her parents had just died. And anyways then she would have more time to plan revenge on the ninja.
