"Can you two please keep it down" I drag my feet into the living room. "Tell that to your father. Nawe uyambona ukuthi uyahlanya lo muntu" I sigh in annoyance. "Ma'Lwethu". "Okay sorry" She forces out."Why do you have to argue when you're in the same space?" I find myself asking. "You think we're arguing?" She scoffs in amusement. "Uphi uSamkelo?" She looks behind me. "He's still sleeping, like everyone else in the neighborhood because it's 6am and you're both making noise"
"Do you hear her? You're making noise. Just go and save us all the trouble" She turns to Tata. "Mah" I call out. "Yini?" She slowly turns to me. "I-I think you should leave" I quickly say. "Uyasixosha yini?"
"No... No, You can come back later when you've both calmed down. But can you just, leave for now?" I say a littke micer. "Okay, Ngixoshe. I'll be back, Tshela lelogwala Samkelo ukuthi sengihambile" She walks towards the door.
"Tata" I point to the door with my eyes. He doesn't say anything, he just opens the door and they start bickering again. "Don't come near me! You reak of problems and bankruptcy" She pushes past him and I sigh, locking the door behind them.
I walk back down to my room to find the triplets all freshened up and sitting all around the room. Atleast he's good at something. "Samkelo" I call out and he looks up from his phone, squinting his eyes. "Mhm?"
"I have to get to class, I'll be back in a few" I'm not saying in a few what cause I might even give intotm the temptation of the few book stores I pass on my way there. "Okay" He simply answers. I quickly take a shower and get dressed.

I make my way up the stairs, heading to my apartment. My phone dings multiple times and I look down at it smiling... It's Samkelo. I reply to him but I don't get to send the text when my head collides with a chest. "Sorry"
I take a step back, looking up at the person. "There's no need to apologise, I wasn't looking where I was going either" I nod in response. He stares at me for a little too long, I frown moving past him. "I'll see you around" He mumbles and I ignore him, walking into my apartment.
"Samkelo!" I call out as I walk in. "Mhm?" He looks up, placing Khanya back on the carpet, balancing her back on the couch. "Is Ona back?" I suddenly remember. He gives me a look saying 'you're asking the wrong person'.
I smack my lips together and he walks towards me, engulfing me in his arms. I smile, hugging him back but he stops and pulls away from me. "Ke eng?" I look up at him. "Who's cologne are you smelling off?" I give him a questioning look.
"I'm not smelling of anyone's cologne, I used my own perfume" He sniffs me once again. "I'm not going to ask you again, who have you been going around hugging?" He sounds serious this time. "No one- ohhh" I realise.
"When I was coming up here, you kept on texting me so I bumped into some guy- That's why I'm smelling of someone elses cologne. I promise" He doesn't look too pleased. "Naledi" He warns. "I promise, I'm not lying to you" He nods, taking a step back. "Go take a shower"
"Mara Samkelo" I groan. "I wasn't asking you, Go take a shower" He orders. I sigh, heading up to my room. I get into the bathroom and take a quick shower before getting dressed and walking back down to him.
"Happy?" I ask once his eyes focus on me. "Not quite" He grabs me, pulling me into his arms. Rubbing his scent all over me, I giggle pulling away from his embrace. "Are you happy now?" I ask again. "Very"
He leans down, placing his lips on mine. I reciprocate the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I love you" He mutters. "I know" I say, just to piss him off. "Naledi" He warns. "Mhm? Ke eng? I know that you love me, I love myself too... I mean, who wouldn't love me?"
"Don't piss me off" His jaw twitches. "I'm just joking, I love you too" He licks his lower lip. "Your mother has been trying to get a hold of you all day" I inform him. "I know" He nods to himself, "Then why haven't you been calling her back?" I scrunch up my face.
"That woman wants to kill me. She's been threatening to strangle me ever since I brought her here. I don't feel safe near her. I'll contact her once she has calmed down" He shrugs "Samkelo... That 'woman' is your mother and she's worried about you!"
"Worried? If it wasn't for those three babies over there she would've killed me, Do you see the cut on my jaw? She threw her heel at me on the plane" He points to the fading cut on his jaw. I snicker, looking away from him.
"You still need to call her, or else I'll kick you out. This is my house, I call the shots here, remember that" I playfully warn him. "Speaking of houses, Hlala phansi Themba lami" He sits on the couch, waiting for me to join him.
I questionably sit down, turning to face him. "How would you feel about moving to Jo'burg with me?" I immediately grimace. "It doesn't sound like a bad idea, but I have school and I'm not willing to give that up, I worked very hard for my scholarship"
"I know but I need to get back to work soon, physically. I can't be having you and the kids a thousand kilometres away from me" He states. "I know but I'm not leaving, I might be able to return for a short while during holidays but I'm not putting my life on hold, please understand that"
"Naledi" He sighs. "I'm not going to discussing any more of this, I've made up my mind Samkelo"
