Chloe Pov

I heard a soft knock on my door as I tried to get Adeya to take her medicine. She's been really sick due to amount of times the weather changes here in Atlanta.

"Come in.." I said while still fight with Adeya to take her medication.

I heard my door open and out of the corner of my eye I saw Halle. I really didn't know what to say but I was waiting for her to say something since she was the one who came in here.

"Chloe can we please talk..." I heard her say lowly.

"Of course we can Halle" I said finally getting Adeya to swallow her medicine. She calmed down and I picked her up laying her on my chest so she could go back to sleep.

I looked up at Halle and motioned for her to sit on my bed. She came and sat on the bed and I waited for her to start talking.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you...I was irresponsible" she said and I frowned.

"Halle it's ok...just be more careful next time" I said and she smiled slightly.

"Chloe can I ask you something?"

"Sure go ahead"

"Where have you been going so late at night?" Halle asked and my breath got caught in my throat.

"Just out..." I said and she smacked her lips.

"Can we stop the lying thing please? I'm trying to bring our bond back" Halle said and I huffed.

"Alright...I've been going to Kehlani's house." I said and Halle gasped.

"What!? Chloe please don't tell me-"

"No Halle we're not having sex...she apologized and I said we could move slow...very slow" I said and Halle still wasn't letting up.

"She put her hands on you Chloe! You shouldn't be around her at all yet giving her another chance." Halle said and I huffed. I know I shouldn't but people change.

"Listen Halle I know ok? I'm still very cautious around her I doing this for the sake of Adeya" I stated.

"Chloe you don't have to be with her to make sure Adeya is happy." Halle said and I once thought that but it can become stressful and sometimes Adeya wants
Kehlani at random times.

"I know Halle but it can become stressful by myself. I'm not rushing into it I wanna make sure everything is good before I let her back in." I said and I could tell Halle was very uneasy about this.

"Chloe are you sure?"

"Yes Halle I know what I'm doing I promise." I said giving her a positive nod.

"Ok..." she said.

"Now give your big sister a hug" I said with a smile on my face. She rolled her eyes playfully and crawled over giving me a hug.

I'll be just fine.

Later that Night...

"Kehlani can you grab her medicine please?" I shouted trying to calm her down. Her body was over heating and I was honestly thinking about taking her to the doctor tomorrow.

Her crying this hard is really alarming to me. "I know DeyDey baby calm down for mommy" I said wiping her tears.

"We need to take her to the doctor Chloe" I heard from behind me.

"I know Keh do you have the medicine?" I asked turning around. She nodded and handed me the medicine.

"Thank you.." I used the tiny syringe to get the dosage for her age and now here's the hard part.
