the thing that made sae immediately begin deducing what had gone wrong with her.
she had been doing well—taking breaks, keeping from taking the overtime shift.
what exactly had transpired for her to finally break her newly formed healthy habits? the ones shidou had helped her foster.
that's when it hit.
shidou was the one to get her to stop. the mention of shidou was the one who made her flustered. shidou as a person was who made her change. and lastly, shidou was the one to make her fall in love.
that much was obvious.
who better to destroy progress than the one who had originally fostered it?

"what in the fuck did you do," sae seethed, a harsh glare on his face even though shidou couldn't see it.
"the hell you mean what'd I do?" shidou asked, perplexed by the sudden aggression that was not averagely displayed by the usually stoic sae.
"what did you do to y/n, you fucking retard," sae hissed.
he would never admit it to anyone and tried to hide it, but he knew it was there.
he knew he liked—no, loved her.
he loved her enough to let her go to someone she needed—someone who could help her escape the stress of work.
someone like shidou.
when he had finally concluded that maybe he made the wrong decision, he wouldn't dare to wait if she didn't like shidou anymore.
oh how much he envied the dual haired man.
