𝒐𝒉 𝒈𝒐𝒅, 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏?

"AH! Oh, it's you! You actually showed up for once adagio!" Owen yaps on happily and playfully likes he's a 5 year old boy on his birthday. He squeezes me tight and hands me a present. "O-oh..we're we supposed to buy eachother presents for this exciting occasion of us hanging out??" I tilt my head and smirk at him.

Owen: "Oh no no no, I just thought since it was valentines day a few days ago I'd buy my friend something..ahah."
His voice cracks and I can tell he's nervous.
"Oh shit sorry I should've bought you something Oh my god im sorry!!" I place my hand on his shoulder and he tells me not to worry and its alright because it was just a spontaneous idea of his. "Want to head to tescos then our secret spot in the park?" He asks very eagerly. "Why not, that's why we're here isn't it."

It's been a few hours, we've been to tesco and bought snacks, now hidden under a tree behind the kids park. I know quite a weird, creepy spot but nobody else knows it, alright? I'm shoving rainbow belts into my gob and he's also shoving some in his aswell. "Damn, these are amazing!"

"I know right thats why I buy them."

"Not as amazing as you, sugar!"

My face becomes hot and pink, and he just blankly stares like he always does.

"Oh did I say something?? I'm sorry!!"

I tell him he's just confused and calm him down but we end up play fighting because he's too soppy and sensitive for my liking. Somehow, in the middle of fighting everything stops, freezes almost and we both pause. Just, staring. I feel very awkward until he laughs and falls in top of me and embraces me with a random hug. "Sorry if I hurt you while fighting, I just don't want to say the wrong thing and hurt you adagio."

"God you are so soppy mate!"

"You like it."

"No,no I don't you wish, I would only fancy you if you buy me a cat for my birthday."

"I could arrange something you know."

"Ha, really, alright then. "

"Yeah, so do you fancy me now lav?"

"EH, no cat yet so no!"

He cackles and I swear I blink and he's spaced out. "Watcha thinking about there??" We stop hugging and we rolls over and sit back up again.

"You, I guess :)"
I spit my coke out my mouth and my jaw sinks into the ground. I try to laugh off the second hand embarrassment and so does he. "Oh shut up you idiot and eat your doritos!" I splutter out of my mouth quietly. After a while the sun has set and I check the time on my fitbit, '19:27pm' wow these nights are starting to stretch out alot more than usual lately. We say our farewells and walk home together.

As we arrive home he stares at me and holds my hand, he smirks "Thanks for hanging out with me today it's been super fun!"

"Aww thanks mate it really has, see you tomorrow at form mate."

"Will do." He walks away and I chuckle to myself and unlock my door with the  rusty, ancient house key. Finally, time to chill.
