Alex sighs as he gets off the plane but puts on a slight smile as he sees his uncle (and current principal) George Washington.
After the hurricane,George kept in touch with Alex as much as he could. Alex would every now and then send George whatever writing project he was working on and george would always praise his work and encourage him to keep writing,untill he decided that Alex has a lot of potential but the Caribbean doesn't offer a lot of options for him to use that potential. And that's when he decided to let Alex stay with him and his wife, Martha Washington.
Alex pov
I see my uncle George walk up to me and gives me a short hug. "Look how much you've grown Alex" he says ruffling my hair causing me to groan. "Nice to see you to uncle George" he leaves my hair and smiles. "You ready for a new start Alex?" I give him a small nod and we start walking out of the airport and on our way home. As we drive through the streets of new York I try to take in as much as possible. 'its so different from the Caribbean. So big and so many people.. hopefully I'll get used to it.'
Once we get home I'm warmly welcomed by Martha Washington,even though its only my second time meeting her. She's sweet,I think I'll like living her. I'll finally have a family..it's been a while. I hope I can make Uncle George proud so he doesn't regret giving me this chance
"Alex your rooms up stairs,make yourself at home. We're so happy to have you" Martha says with a smile which Alex kindly returns before going up the stairs and to his room. 'I'll finish getting ready and maybe write a bit before going to bed. Can't believe I'm starting at a new school tomorrow..' despite the fact that I talk "nonstop" as some would say,I'm not really that much of a social person so I'm quite nervous for tomorrow but uncle George says it'll be fine so I guess I'll just have to take his word for it. I mean it is his school after all.

Look who's alive again😃 and yes I'm starting a new book and yes I havent finished 'hyung' but that'll continue in due time my kids. For now hope you enjoy the new book.
