The alarm clock rang softly, and I reached out and turned it off. It seemed that I had just fallen asleep, and the morning had already come. I slept so sweetly that the night passed unnoticed.
Strong, hot arms enveloped me and pressed me to his broad chest.
- Why did you set the alarm? - Robert asked, kissing my neck.
- I have a lot of things to do, - I said reluctantly, admiring my lover's sleepy face.
- December thirty-first? - he murmured in surprise, barely opening his eyes.
- Of course. I had just finished my final exam yesterday. I didn't have time to think about outfits and gifts.
- Well, you don't have to worry about my present. I'm ready to receive it right now, - he smiled and cheerfully jumped up, rolled over and stood on top of me.
His lips began to kiss me, and I couldn't help but laugh as his spiky stubble tickled my neck. Every touch he made caused a new batch of goosebumps on my skin. And as much as I wanted him right now, I decided to save the sweet anticipation for the evening. So I objected:
- No, no, no! You'll have to wait for the night! Something special is waiting for you!
- Mmmm, - Rob growled, - do you realize that by intriguing me, you have no chance of getting out of bed soon, right?
- Really? - I wrapped my legs around him and rolled over.
He did not resist, but gave in to me. Once I was pinned to the bed, he studied me with his dark blue eyes, waiting for me to act. I sat on top of him like a horsewoman and held his hands to prevent him from touching me. Once on top, I jumped up and jumped off the bed.
- We'll have to wait until the evening, - I said, smiling.
- Not fair, - Rob said, acting offended, but the smile didn't leave his face.
I headed to the dressing room to get ready for the mall, where Chris was waiting for me.
It had been about two months since Rob had saved me. There were no more misunderstandings between us. He made it clear to me who we were to each other. The very night he first told me he loved me, he asked me to live with him. And I agreed without hesitation. First of all, I was afraid to face Max if he ever showed up, and secondly, I just couldn't imagine my life without Rob.
Maybe for some people our life was monotonous, but for us it was filled with something new every day. Because we were getting to know each other better. One day Robert was busy with work, and I was immersed in my studies. I had only six months to complete my degree, so I had to work hard. We had evenings and nights left over, which we spent very passionately and fervently. I never thought I could be so... uninhibited, passionate, seductive. Rob discovered all this in me. And every time he looked at me, I saw an unquenchable desire in his eyes.
But today was the New Year. I had only December thirty-first to prepare for it. Rob and I were invited to celebrate by his friend at his restaurant. So I won't have to cook a lot of dishes this year. All I need to do is find a suitable dress, which is harder for me than chopping a salad.
When I ran into the mall, I thought Chris was going to scold me for being late. But she was nowhere to be found. I stayed at the main entrance and decided to call her. After listening to all the beeps, I got worried, and then I heard it:
- You won't believe what just happened to me! - Chris said, boiling with rage.
Her cheeks were red, her hair was disheveled, and she looked like she was about to explode with anger. Her appearance surprised me and I asked:
