Mateo Torrez, July 16th

I wake up to the sound of Rufus's alarm. "Shut it Off." I spoke. I keep my eyes closed,pulling our soft and cold comforter over my head. I feel one of his arms wrapped around my shoulders,pulling me closer to his body. I quickly hit his arm away.
"Shut the damn alarm off!" I yell at him, turning onto my side, scooting away from him. "Taeo." I hear. Rufus was trying to move closer to me. Yet again I smack him away. "Screw this I'm sleeping in the closet." I say,grabbing my pillow and getting up from the bed. When Rufus realizes I was actually going to the closet he quickly smacks the alarm,shutting it off.
By the time it shut off I was already in the closet,shutting the door. "Get your ass out here now!" I hear him shout. Rufus starts banging on the closet door. "Let me sleep in piece!" My body was already on the floor,curling up with my pillow in my arms. "Taeooo." Rufus whines.
Suddenly I feel Rufus pick me up. "Put me down!" I start kicking and hitting him,trying to get free from his arms. Rufus throws me onto our bed.

I throw Mateo onto our bed. "Your a Little pain in the ass." I give him a smug smirk. "You were last Night." I hear Mateo mumble. I rolled my eyes,plopping down on the bed next to him,my arms instinctively wrapping around his waist. My previous cologne from last nights date surrounds us. I feel a soft pillow hit my face. I push it Away,revealing a smirking Mateo sitting on my lap,holding another pillow. I wrap my arms around his back,pulling his body down so he is laying on me. "We need to get ready." Mateo says. "Five more minutes." I groan,shifting my body a little bit so we are fully cuddling now. "No,we need to now-" I cover Mateo's mouth,silencing him. "I said five more minutes Mateo." I slowly run my hands down his back,kissing him on the cheek. Somehow five minutes pass quicker than I imagined,but I'm a man of my words. I remove my hands from Mateo,allowing him to get up. "What are we Even Doing Today?" I groan,stretching and getting up too. "We have a couple of errands to run,as well as going to get a couple of new books and stuff." Mateo says,already making the bed,which means no turning back now. "Are we still going to the ocean with the Plutos?" I ask,grabbing a graphic T-shirt and slightly oversized black cargo shorts.
"I think so,maybe around 7:25 pm so we can see the sunset." He replies,grabbing a baggy T-shirt with NASA on it,along with baggy champion black basketball shorts.
We both change into our clothes,sometimes putting a pause on changing just to kiss or hug.

"I swear to god Rufus hurry your ass up." I shout,already waiting by the door. Rufus quickly runs out from our bedroom. "Can you grab Leo's
leash?" I ask,signaling to our husky,who is laying on the floor. Rufus Grabs the leash,putting it on Leo and handing me it. "You have everything?" I ask,looking at him. "Yeah I think so." I nod and grab his hand,leaving our apartment. We moved away from New York when we were around 19 years old. Now we live in Maryland at the Carousel hotel. It's a very nice place to live,everyone here is so friendly and I've already be friended a lot of workers and other people staying here. We have a clear view of the ocean and many other sights from our room,since we are on a high floor.
I walk down the hallway with Leo and Rufus by my side. "Good morning Mateo,Rufus and Leo." One of our neighbors,Patrick smiles and waves at them. "Hey Patrick,how is Leah?" I ask,smiling and hugging him. "She is doing good, she's been slightly moody but that's usual." He laughs.
I walk over to the elevator,pressing the button and leaning on Rufus,Leo sitting by my legs.
We finally reach the bottom and walk past the front desk,waving at a couple of people.
The warm sun hits my skin,making it shine a little bit. I love the sun,Rufus on the other hand not so much. We walk over to the Garage area,locating our nice jeep and getting in,Leo jumping up onto my lap. Let's get this day started.
