Once JJ left I walked back into the house and sat in the living room. I put the basket on the table and took out the tickets. I'm assuming JJ included extra tickets in case I wanted to bring Kay or Rut. When I moved the tickets and the gatorade I saw he put in his hoodies, sweats and other clothes for me to wear.

I pulled out one of his hoodies that had his number and name on the back. It was so big considering he was almost a foot taller than me. Since I was here and got back not long ago I decided to go to the bathroom to change. I grabbed JJ's hoodie and I also went to Rut's room to grab a pair of sweats from him.

After changing I walked out and saw Rut, Kayleigh, Ethan, Luke and Mark sitting in the living room. I walked over to sit on the couch. Luke was the first one to notice what the hoodie said. "Ooh Val you're wearing your boyfriend's hoodie with his name and number." I looked at him and slapped his arm. I was hoping I would be able to wear it without anyone noticing but Luke ruined the plan.

"Luke shut up he's not my boyfriend." I know that saying that isn't necessarily the full truth because I'm pretty sure last night's dinner was a date. I looked at Ethan and Mark and they looked invested in this story now. I could tell that they were going to be included in the gossip and in the group chat very soon.

"Anyway, I was asked by JJ to go to his game this weekend and he gave me a ticket. He also included 2 more tickets in case anyone wanted to come with me and some of his clothes so I could have something to wear to his game since I only have Rutger's hockey clothes."

Rut and Luke looked at each other then looked at me. "Val, listen if this is going to go any further we need you to promise you'll keep us in the loop and always come to us no matter what. We also want to meet JJ. We want to make sure he's good to you." I knew that they would want to meet JJ especially since my ex was abusive towards me and Rut had to be the one to get me out of the situation. For him now he never feels comfortable with me going out alone with guys unless he has met them before.

I figured that inviting Rut to come to the game with me and allowing them to meet would be the best idea because I'm hoping that things with JJ will continue moving in the direction that it is moving in. Since we all had to go to Yost Arena in the morning I decided to sleep over. They had an extra room which has become my room since I've been here many times even before transferring to Michigan. I decided to go to my room and start washing up to get ready for bed.

I woke up at 6 am. I walked down to the kitchen and saw Rut eating some breakfast. He set a plate down in front of me with an ice coffee. I smiled as a thank you to him. He knows what I'm like when I don't have my coffee in the morning. After breakfast we both got dressed to head out. I threw on a blue crop top and leggings with one of JJ's hoodies.

Once we were both dressed and ready to go we walked to Rutger's gray jeep wrangler. He unlocked the car and opened the door for me. He turned on Taylor Swift for our drive to the Yost. When we arrived at the arena he parked the car and opened my door for me to get out. We walked to the player entrance and walked into the building. Once inside I set up my camera and phone along with my microphone.

With my cameras set up completely and ready for the day it was time for the players to start walking in for their morning practice. Today's practice is what is your favorite Taylor Swift song? I ask the question of the day after they finish practice so that allows me time to take pictures of them walking in and at practice. They were all dressed for practice and went down to the ice. Before they did Rut and I did our pre practice/game ritual that we do together. We've done this since we were little kids. We have two handshakes but only use one for Rut's sporting events.
