There's a reason the sun shines,
Blasting through dark clouds.
The light, piercing the grey,
Revealing a blue background.
Rays of warmth,
Melting the coldest day.
It's a sign of hope,
A sensation of safety.
Many may say God.
No matter which entity,
The invitation is kind,
A haven, with open arms.
What a reminder to be alive,
To breathe in,
And coast in the peace.
Even in gloomy space,
Luminescence is on the horizon.
The sun always rises.
