A Sick Single Father

So it's been roughly 5 months since Inception swallowed my brain. First, I fell in love with Arthur x Eames, then I saw Cobb x Saito. And I love sickfics. There are plenty of Arthur x Eames sickfic which I'm really happy about.

But there is no frickin' Cobb x Saito sickfic! Or even if there is, I couldn't find any, no matter how desperately I was searching fot it (okay, that's not true, I actually found one in which Cobb has insomnia and that might count as an illness too). If you can find any Cobb x Saito sickfic in which Cobb is the bottom, so he's the sick one, can you please share that with me? Tysm!

So I decided to write my own Cobb x Saito sickfic.

Summary: Saito breaks up with his wife. He comes up the idea that him and his dreaming co-workers should visit gather for visiting occasionally and the dreamers gladly accept this idea. Saito and Cobb fall in love with each other (and Arthur and Eames too). On one of the events when they visit each other, Cobb gets sick woth pneumonia, but wants to keep it as a secret. When Saito realises how awful state is Cobb in, he doesn't let it slide anymore and convinces him to let to be taken care.

6 months past after the Fischer job. Saito didn't feel like being with his wife anymore, they simply just didn't match. His wife felt the same. Breaking up and divorcing her wasn't complicated and not that painful either. Saito thought about his wife sometimes though. However, now that he was lonely, he thought, maybe he can visit the people who were his co-workers in the Fischer job. He talked to all of them and they agreed to visit each other sometimes.

Thanks to the events when they gathered for a visit and spend time together, a few really good things happened. First, Eames stopped being a rival with Arthur. Even if he teased him often, they were friends. In fact, when Arthur wasn't there, Eames told  the others that he's actually in love with him. Arthur didn't do that, but everyone could see the blush on his face anytime Eames was close to him. When Eames wasn't present, in the lack of Eames teasing Arthur, everyone else teased him instead, saying things like "Admit you like Eames" and Arthur would tell them to shut up.

But such a romantic case didn't only happen with Eames and Arthur. When Cobb spent time with Saito, he felt nervous. He felt butterflies in his stomach when Saito hugged him or was just close to him at all.

It was December. A two-week winter camp was organised for little children in which there was skiing, sledding, ice-skating and such or there were indoor programmes. Cobb thought it must be really fun so he decided to enrol his kids in. Both of his children already got used to being without their parents, but if it was necessary, he could be with them.

He told the others about the camp. Saito came up with the idea that maybe they themselves can visit each other and spend time together till that those two weeks last and rest, but take a little job. He invited everyone to his rich house and everyone agreed.

After Cobb told his kids that they'll talk on the phone and that they don't have to be worried about being without him for such a long time, he finally took the flight.

"Cobb! It's so great to see you!" Saito said happily as he hugged him
