Act 2: Heart of Shadows

Mr. Feng's men are arranging the cargo from the truck. Separating each stock into different piles. Along with the illegal items they had brought.

Unknowingly, someone is spying on them from above holding a cellphone and recording a video. Amaya took the law into her own hands and decided to get evidence against Mr. Feng.

On the outside, one of the guards came walking towards the corner of the compound and saw his unconscious comrade.

"Hey! Wake up!" He tapped his comrades' face but he is out cold.

"Shit." He radioed and reported it.

A few minutes later four armed men came to investigate the area. One of them still tries to wake his comrade but to no avail.

"Jesus, he's really out man. Are you sure he ain't just high?"

"Bro, why would he take the old alps if he's gonna go on a shift. He knows the boss will kill him if he fucks up. Now look at him. I tell you, someone took him out." One of the men said and all of them agreed.

"Okay but who? Is it the cops? If so, where are they?"

"It's not the cops man. They don't do shit like this. We better spread out and investigate."

"Hey look, aren't we gonna tell Mr. Feng about this?"

"Yo, you have a death wish buddy? He'd think we fucked up and who do you think he will order to punish us? That psycho Liang. Let's just sort this out ourselves then maybe we can fix it before the boss gets a wind of it."

The men spread out looking for clues as to the whereabouts of the person that knocked out their comrade.

Outside the hotel resort, Noah is doing his routine patrol on the area. Making sure no one is sneaking in. Using his flashlight, he's looking at every corner of the compound of the hotel while his partner is guarding the main entrance.

Noah remembered Amaya. For some reason, he cannot take her off his head. He felt different. It's as though he's beginning to have feelings towards her. He knows he is attracted to how beautiful she is but he can't make himself fall again. His heart still aches. He was betrayed by his ex girlfriend. And the wound to his heart run deep.

But then again, he still thinks of Amaya. He stopped walking and grabbed his phone. He has Amaya's number. He thought about it for a few seconds. His heart starts racing. Noah smiles. Then he dialed Amaya's number.

Inside the warehouse, Amaya's phone suddenly rang. The men below heard the ringtone and they stopped. Amaya hurriedly turned off her phone.

"Wow she hang up on me. She must be busy." Noah said to himself and decided to text her an apology.

The men in the warehouse looks up to the ceiling and could not see anyone. Amaya already left the spot. She's on the roof and planning to get out as soon as possible but she saw some armed men patrolling the area where she snuck in earlier and it would be impossible for her to move there undetected. Amaya hid and waited.

Some of the men from the warehouse went out and saw their comrades patrolling. They reported what they heard.

"Someone is here! I need eyes! Keep searching!" One of them ordered.

Amaya went back inside the warehouse from the ceiling and hid in one of the dark corners.

A room from inside the warehouse opened and Liang walks out fixing his pants and smiling. The girl inside the room is crying and looks exhausted.

"Where is everyone?" Liang noticed there's no one around. He went outside and saw his men are searching the area. He called one of them.

"What's happening?"
