Evie's Pov
Me and Mal were in our dorm and heard a knock on the door. I got up and saw Carlos and he kissed me. He lifted me up and sat me on the table. He lifted up my skirt and I felt heat in my core as he kissed my neck and I moaned. Mal cleared her throat.
"Oh Mal's in here." Carlos said
"Yep." I said and Carlos put me down
"Hey you ok?" He walked over to Mal
"No, Ben... he broke up with me." Mal said sobbing
"Oh." Carlos said sadly and hugging Mal
"Wow it's really that bad. I never saw Mal crying before." He said
"Yeah." I said
"Well... why don't you sing a song. Saying you're sorry." Carlos said and smiled
"You think?" Mal said and I nodded
"Ok." She said sitting up
"Oh but not a love song." He said and we both looked at him
"What. Look I love Ben but I'm team Jal." Carlos said
Mal blushed and I nudged her, chuckling. I got up and helped her up and said goodbye to Carlos. Carlos right tho she should say sorry and what better way is there than a song. We picked a song and we both ran in the cafeteria.
Mal ran on the stage and spoke in the mic. I sat down with Carlos and Jay looking at her.
"Hey guys so you guys have probably heard the about... the break up." She said and sighed. " I love you Ben but I understand and I'm really sorry. I don't have hopes that he'll get back with me but I wanna say sorry." She grabbed the mic and started singing.
You gotta go get angry at all of my honesty

I hope I don't run out of time, could someone call a referee?

She sang looking at Ben but Ben just rolled his eyes

Mal winked and the whole cafeteria laughed, Ben chuckled too. Jay frowned

She looked again at Ben and his eyes soften. Jay on the other hand got angrier by the second.

Mal finished and everyone cheered. Ben clapped and grinned but Jay took up his bag and ran away. Me and Carlos looked at each other in confusion. Ben ran up to the stage, Mal smiled
"Of course I forgive you." Ben smiled
Mal hugged him and Ben hugged her back. Everyone including me and Carlos clapped and cheered. I looked back at the doors where Jay ran out of. I wondered where he went and why he was so angry. Was he jealous?
Carlos looked at me and I looked back smiling.
"Hey so I suck at this and you know this." Carlos said and I looked at him in confusion
"Will... you go to the dance with me." He continued
"Yes!" I said and hugged him
After the song and the question me and Mal went to our dorm and got some sleep while was still thinking dreamily about Carlos.
