"Samkelo" I sigh noticing the tiny handprints on my eyeshadow palette. "Where are they?" I look around him. Every since they learnt how to crawl two weeks ago, they've been causing chaos around the house. You heard me right, house. Samkelo couldn't convince me to move back to Jo'burg so he bought me a house here. I tried protesting and making up excuses, telling him that I couldn't just leave Ona, he wasn't buying it.
"Somewhere around the play room. Yini, benzeni?" He sits up straighter. "They're ruining my things" I walk towards the playroom and luckily the door is closed so they can't escape. The moment I step in, all their attention snaps to me.
I kneel down and Luzuko immediately crawls to me. "Good morning baby" He giggles, pulling my hair. I smile putting him back down. "Naledi-" Samkelo calls out just as I'm about to carry Khanya. "Mhm?" I get up with her in my arms.
He motions for me to step closer to him. "O ya kae?" I asses his outfit. "There's something that needs my attention, I have to fly back to the warehouse. I'll be back in a week, max" He leans down, pecking my lips.
"Would it be possible for you to... maybe stop with that kind of lifestyle" He gives me a warning look. "We'll talk when I get back" He pecks Khanya's forehead before walking out. "Samkelo!" I call after him but he ignores me.

"And then? Baby daddy o kae?" Ona looks around the house as she places her handbag on the table. "I don't want to talk about him right now" I wave it off. "So he's not here?" She whispers. "Yes..." I give her a questioning look."Nwana ko gae... There was a bombing at the Zungu mansion last night. Apparently, I don't know but apparently, Samkelo's little sister was kidnapped" She lowly says. "Sima was kidnapped?"
"Not just Sima, even her twin brother" She adds. "Sabelo?" I raise an eyebrow at her. "Yes, You didn't hear this from me but they're suspecting the leader of the Sparrows to be the one responsible for it... And do you know who the leader of the Sparrows is? Ke Omphile"
"Omphile would never do that, yes he loves the business but he loves his life too... He knows how dangerous that family is, even I know how dangerous they are" I sigh. "Your brother is stupid, he'd do anything to gain the respect of his members"
"I'll talk to Omphile... There must be some misunderstanding, yes he's selfish but he's not that selfish Ona" I sigh.

"Samkelo" I call out and he walks past me. He scoffs to himself, anxiously pacing around the room. "Okay, you don't want to talk to me because of your siblings getting kidnapped, fine but please don't walk into my room, in the middle of the night and expect me to just let you do as you please" I click my tongue in annoyance.
"Who told you about that?" His jaw ticks. "It doesn't matter, please leave" I turn to face him. "Naledi... I love you but I draw the line when it comes to my family, I'm going to kill your brother and I won't have any regrets about it." He threatens.
"You are in no position to make any threats Samkelo because the last time I checked, you haven't been answering any of my calls for the past three weeks. I understand, you had to find your siblings bt you could've atleast called to check up on your children, the very same children you forced me to let you in their lives.."
"I came here to get a breath of fresh air but you're talking my ear off and giving me a headache." He heads towards the door. "O ya kae? I'm not done talking to you, Samkelo! You can't keep on running away when argue!" I exclaim.
And with that he disappeared, for another two weeks. No call, no text... Nothing. Just him continuously sending fat cheques into my account. I've been taking care of three babies on my own... With the help of Ona, of course. She practically lives here.
"So no word from him yet?" Ona asks with Liyema on her lap. We're currently seated in the living room, watching a movie. "No" I simply say. "When I get my hands on that son of a-" I cut her off. "Onalerona"
"Ke eng? I'm going to beat the Zuluness out of him. He's been testing my patience since day one, Wa lebala gore o na le bana neh?" She smacks her lips together with a scowl plastered on her face. "Ke tla mmontšha" She adds. I smile, shaking my head at her. The doorbell rings and I get up, heading to open it.
"Rea? Hi" I steps aside, letting her in. She heavily breathes out as she paces around the living room. "Rea? Bua" Ona urges. "W-Wait. I'm still t-thinking" She shudders as tears stream down her eyes. "Ke eng Reabetswe? Bua marn!"
"T-They want to kill me" She chokes out. "Who want to kill you?" I dryly swallow. "Samkelo, he found out that I was helping you throughout your pregnancy. I don't know who told him but he wants to kill me... He sent Sbonelo after me, he set my damn house on fire!" She frustratedly says.
"Monna wa hau Minnie" Ona dramatically claps in amusement. "R-Rea..." I trail off. "Don't worry, I handle it... I just need a phone, all my things got burnt in the fire" She looks disheveled. I hand her my phone and she dials a number before putting the phone up to her ear.
"Anti, uSamkelo ufuna ukungibulala" She hurriedly says, she must be talking to Ma'Lwethu. "No, mah. Wathumela uSbonelo ukuthi azoshisa umuzi wami" She adds. "Angazi, akekho lapha" The last thing I hear is multiple shooting then the line goes dead.
"She's on her way." Great timing, now I can get him into triple the trouble.
