        London's pov:

I just moved across state lines into enemy territory. I was born and raised in Tennessee for about 12 or so years, and eventually moved to Florida for 5½ additional years. It was definitely a time to remember.

My life was smooth sailing until my last semester of junior year when my mom told me we would be moving to FUCKING CHICAGO. I mean when I say it, it's not all bad, however you would be far from correct. I'll be moving to the middle class thug central area.

Not a place I wanna be at.

When I was little my dad got arrested for conspiracy, and was sentenced to 10 years, so yeah I'm not trying to follow in his footsteps (Which should be no problem since I'm a responsible young women that stays on top of her stuff). While in prison my dad got roped into a gang, the BGC who are based in Chicago.

Nothing I want to get myself involved in!

My dad had always warned me about them folks, but I never really did pay too much attention since I never planned on running into them, and nor will I ever. Fuck that shit.

Anywho my dad ended up getting released two days after my 12th birthday. I truly didn't know how to feel back then and I still don't know now 6 years later, but he's putting in the most amount of effort he can, and I appreciate that.

I have 5 siblings in total: one brother from my dads side piece and two brothers and two sisters from my mom. Yeah, my mom and dad were bussin it down. Anywho, I am the second youngest child. My eldest brother is Kai (21), then comes Deja (20) my eldest sister, next is Jasper (19), then Nicolas (19) aka my cool half brother, next my little sister Iris (5), and last but not least me, London (18).

Our move to Chicago was smoothe. The place we have is bigger than our last one so I take that as a win, but starting new and fresh was going to be hard. Like who should I act like? A quiet emo girl, a loner, a partier or a class clown? I'm not sure, too many options to choose from.

I'm in the beginning of my senior year, which is crazy to think about. I'm about to graduate, woah.

Leaving all my friends behind in Florida was hard, but I luckily I got to hang out with them all summer. Plus I will never trade my three best friends for the world. Yes three! Why do I need more?

I mean I wouldn't mind more, it's just that I am not a really good conversation starter. I can't keep a convo for shit. Which is why my three pookie butts are the only ones that stayed with me, and they're all I need for real.

"London let's go!", Jas called from upstairs.

Yes upstairs as in I am currently living in the basement, which is not as bad as it seems. It also isn't underground so I do get sunlight coming through my three windows, which is perfect for an early riser like me. My room is large. It has its own separate side door where I can enter and exit through, and it can fit all of my stuff and more! Imagine an extended living room. They're both giving off the same vibe: carpet, couch, tv, tables, and a added bonous of a personal bathroom. The room is separated by a wall, so it's split. One side is the now greenhouse, warm, aesthetic living room where everybody will be coming and hanging out. Then there's a wall with a door which is my room. However, the only bad part is the bathroom is in the separate living room, so when people come over in the future (aka my brother's future friends, because they are so friendly) then I'll have to walk out in my pjs and all.

But it is what it is cause at the end of the day it's my space.

A win is a win.

"I'll be up there. Give me a minute", I responded as I looked in the mirror for any final touches.

Today is my last first day of high school. Yay to senior year. However, unfortunately since we were still in the process of moving we are now a week behind. Which isn't bad, but by now everybody already got they're separate friend groups.

Crazy how it takes no time for that part.

Anywho, this is the fit today.

(Without purse, instead just a regular shmegular book bag)

Yurp yurp. I ate down, no need to boost.

Yes please do boost up my confidence because I'm nervous today!

I walked out of my room after grabbing my phone, spraying some fresh perfume, and dapping som essential oil on my wrists.

Okay let's get this party going.

"Took you damn near a year to change", Nico said.

Yes Nico moved here with us because his mother became a crackhead and got locked up not too long ago, so he's staying with us for good! I don't care if his mother gets out, he's still gonna stay here. My brother is not going to follow in any sinful footsteps.

"That's the life of a girl's girl's brother, you should be used to this by now", I shrug walking over to the dinner table to grab a bite of breakfast that my mother made before being rushed out by Jas.

"I love you guys, have an amazing day!", I yelled to my mom and the rest of my siblings as I hopped in Nico's car with Jas.

"We're going to be late because of your slow ass. Next time little sister please wake up earlier", my brother said with a plea.

Yes, Nico and Jas are seniors this year. They were held back in Kindergarten which is absolutely fucking insane but go off I guess. They were held back because of absences and they're grade level not being high enough for a 1st grader. During that time my mom and dad were at each others neck, and then you add the used to be bad bitch ex baby momma to it and boom. Let's just say it didn't go well for both the adults and kids.

However, we're better now and dads back home with mom. She seems much happier so I'll take that as a win.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry. It won't happen again, aye aye", I said as I souluted to him.

He let out a chuckle as he said "Yeah whatever."

Our current destination is Rocky Mill High School. Yurp, and it isn't as lame as it sounds. I looked up the pictures online and the wasn't too bad. It was like any other, just needed a little bit of work to it. Some elbow grease the principal should put in the budget for sure.

Anywho, it was a smooth 5 minute drive from the house so that's a plus. I put in my AirPods and listen to '16 carriages', by the Queen herself, Beyoncé.

Yo she ate down with these new songs.

Anywho, back on track, during this school year I  just hope I can make at least a good one or two friends. Please god don't do me wrong. I'm not trying to get involved in no drama or anything dangerous, amen.

I'm not a party girl who likes to go out nor a drama bee that likes to scope the scenery and fight all the time.

I'm just a young woman who is finding her own style and vibe. I love to go on Picnic dates, but also would love to go to a jump park. I love sports, but also love crocheting and knitting. I'm just an aesthetic girl that loves to be at peace.

"Sissy we're here", Jas says.

As we step out the car a bell goes off, signaling our late arrival.

Well damn, I thought we'd make it. I mean I didn't really take too long. Note to self, don't take an hour shower in the morning.

However, I got up earlier in order to take a shower, it was just picking an outfit that got me. Next time I need to pick it out the night before.

Looking at the school in person you can tell some things got redone after the pictures online where taken, but it still looked a little busted down.

"Welp let's do this thing my dear brothers",  I said as we walked into the school.
