At Kuea's house
"Why is Hia Lian so mean to Kuea?"Kuea whined to Diao.
"Don't be sad Ku-ku he isn't worth crying over.Well at least in this situation."Diao replied to him.
"You don't understand diao-diao!He's never said such hurtful things the entire time I've know him."Kuea kept on whining to his best friend.
The smell of alcohol spread across the room,along with Kuea's crying and singing.
"How about we go to the hair-stylist and have a best friends trip!"Diao asked with puppy eyes.
"Okay fine.I'll be able to flex to Lian that his words didn't get to me,at least I'll show that!"Kuea replied with fire in his eyes.
Flashback
"Khrab,I understand.I'll ask my employees there to solve the situation.Have a good night."Lian ended the phone call and rubbed his temples.
"Can we go now Hia,I've been waiting forever!"Kuea pouted.
"I've just a bit more work,it's getting late you should go home.I'll ask Jo to send you home."Lian replied.
Kuea retaliated saying that he was fine,but the older would just not listen.
"Kuea I really don't think I'll be finishing by the time we made the reservation."Lian replied calmly.
"Just being here with you is fine Hia,why are you not understanding?"Kuea asked him with a louder voice.
"Nong don't get mad at me,you need a good night's sleep."Lian insisted.
"I've just been dealing with stress lately,it's not at you."Kuea replied looking at his feet.
"Are you sure it's not because I didn't take you out tonight?"Lian doubted him.
"Hia let me ask you this."Kuea said to him teary eyed."Do you actually like me or is it just to fulfil your duty for my family?"
"Kuea..."Lian could not complete his sentence.
"I got my answer.Hia...let's break the engagement."Kuea took a deep breath with crystal tears streamed down his face.
"N'Kuea don't get me mad."Lian said.
"I'm serious Hia,Kuea can't stand this no more."Kuea replied.
"Can't stand what?The fact that I treat you like you're a stranger.Kuea you've always acted like you've no secrets,but this isn't you.I wanna know the real you not,not a doll."Lian argued.
"Am I as cute as a doll Hia."Kuea asked sarcastically.
"You're like this one doll.Annabelle."Lian said.
They glared at each other,but it was mostly Kuea huffing with his arms crossed.
With that statement Kuea left without looking at the older and went home with Jo.
They were driving back to Kuea's parent's home when suddenly a dog appeared out of nowhere.Jo stepped on the break causing a sudden stop.
"You asshole!"Kuea shouted.
It wasn't at Jo,but rather Lian.The frustration just took over him.
"Sorry Young master."Jo replied.
End of flashback
"Kuea I've booked the appointment at 1pm tommorow.Don't be late!"Diao said to Kuea who was just hugging his stuffie.
"You're the best diao-diao!Can I marry you instead I don't want Lian anymore!"Kuea whined to Diao.
"Have you gone crazy Ku-Ku?!I'm leaving now or Hia Yi is going to mad at me.Bye bye~"Diao said and stood up.
"Bye bye~"Kuea replied and fell into a deep slumber.
At Lian's office
"Honestly I don't blame Kuea,you called him Annabelle!"Yi,best friend of Lian said.
"I know,it just came out.What should I do now?"Lian asked,clearly frustrated.
"Are you going to really end things with him?Diao is best friends so it would be awkward."Yi urged him.
"I will never break up with him till my last breath."Lian sincerely said.
"Try apologising,but I don't it'll work."Yi encouraged him.
"I'll try tomorrow,he might cool off till then."Lian replied.
