NOTES:

One of the character's names in ExJr's OC. This was made before the horrendous act he committed, and I have no ties to him anymore.

Evening in Trolberg was something that Hilda had always cherished. The sunlight reflecting off the tall, glass skyscrapers made it seem as if they were glowing a golden hue. This evening, Hilda planned to attend a disco club to meet some new people.

She was in her room, feeling excited to finally experience the night life to herself for the first time. The now 18 year old girl had been talking about this all day at school, insisting that she will go alone.

"Alfur, tonight's the night!" exclaimed Hilda, finishing the final knot on her shoe and getting up.

The elf looked at the girl with a tired expression. "Yes, I get it. You've been talking about it all the time..."

"It's just that there isn't anything better than that sweet, sweet sense of freedom! You know what I mean, right?"

"Tell me about it," groaned Alfur, hopping onto Hilda's shoulder. The girl noticed this and chuckled.

"Oh no you don't! No supervision for me tonight," joked Hilda. She placed the elf back down onto the floor and rushed out the door.

Walking outside of her building and into the evening air, Hilda couldn't help but feel excited for what was about to come. No more Mum judging her every move, or Frida being picky about what she can or cannot do. Seeing the tram, Hilda walked towards the stop and got on just in time.

As the old, rickety tram drove down the street, Hilda began to imagine what could happen to her tonight. Maybe she'll finally get to try out those new dance moves she learned from dance class at school! Maybe she would even find someone, or have a sip of alcohol. Hilda didn't know what to expect tonight, but she felt prepared for anything.

Getting off the tram and heading towards a night club labelled the "Mirage", the girl began to feel some memories come back to her mind. This is the exact same place where she faced the time worm, albeit 56 years later!

Hilda spotted the bouncer and walked up to him, showing her driver's license as an I.D. The large, bald man let her into the lively night club.

"Whoa..." thought Hilda, "It's exactly like how I remembered it!"

The girl was right, the club was in perfect condition! It was exactly like how it was left in 1947, apart from one thing. A large DJ booth stood in the middle of the stage, along with a few musicians beside it. A particular musician, seemingly the lead singer, caught Hilda's attention.

She made her way closer to the stage, pushing through the crowd in order to get a better look at the singer. The puffy, blonde hair of the singer was extremely familiar to Hilda, almost like she had known her before!

The puffy-haired singer spotted Hilda and the two locked eyes. Surely it couldn't be... Elsie! Hilda smiled and waved, to which Elsie replied with a nod. She pointed to the bar with her thumb, seemingly beckoning Hilda to meet her at the bar after the song.

The blue-haired girl agreed, feeling excited to finally catch up with a familiar face. She made her way towards the fully-packed bar, finding a spot to stand and order a drink. Before Hilda could get a word in, she felt an arm go around her shoulder.

"I'll get two glasses of akvavit, my tab," said a voice. Hilda spun around to find Elsie standing next to her, already off the stage!

"E-Elsie! That was pretty quick," stammered Hilda, "H-how are you?" The blue-haired girl was shocked at the sudden appearance of the familiar figure, expecting her to arrive a bit later.
