Eli: Holy shit we are in Seoul, South Korea

The 18 year old was looking around with wide and sparkling eyes filled with excitement. Elizabeth Matthews , or as she preferred to be referred as Eliza was your normal 18 years old with a music obsession and strict Asian parents. She spend the first half of her 18 years old life in US before moving back to her native place in India. She was into k-pop music since she was 13 and picked up a passion for dancing around the same time .

Now that same passion had brought her to one of her dream destinations which was Seoul as she was part of the national dance team representing India in the K-dance championship for the year 2024. And it was safe to say she was thrilled.

Mom: what have I talked you about cursing ?

Eli: to control it ?

Mom: exactly now quickly go join your team mates. I'll see you in the evening after we have both settled in our accomodations provided.

Eli: hmm. It's a bummer that parents aren't allowed to stay with participants who are over 18 .

Mom: quit pretending I know you are having a disco party in your head right now.

Eliza just gave a sheepish smile to her mom before waving her bye and going to join her team mates.

Eli: damn this is huge.

Eliza had just walked into the room assigned for her and she was I'm shock seeing how pretty and luxurious it looked.

Eli: who ever is sponsoring this really said leave no rooms for complaints huh ?

??: do you always talk to yourself.

Eli: sh*t...fucking hell you scared me. Hi I'm Eliza.

Hae: oh I'm so sorry . I'm Haechil . I'm in the room next to yours.

Eli: are you on the Korean team ?

Hae: Oh no I'm on the Malaysian team. But ya I'm Korean just that I was born and bought up in Malaysia so ended up in the Malaysian team.

Eli: ah I'm from team India.

Hae: ya I already saw the board. So your the team vice captain huh ?

Eli: ya. The captian isn't here so I'm in charge and it's quite scary

Hae: ah I can't relate since I've never been in any post of importance.

And like that their conversation went on talking about different topics like how they got into dance , they favourite dance style and much more until the topic came to k-pop.

Eli: omg you are a Straykids fan too ?

Hae: yup . I'm Han biased you ?

Eli: I like them all but felix has a special place in my heart.

Hae: ooh we have the sunshine twins as our biases. Wait on a different note have you found your soulmate?

Eli: nope . But I already received my mark soon as I turned 18 . What about you ?

Hae: I'm already bonded . He is in the same crew as me. We met through the crew itself.

Eli: that's so nice. I hope who ever mine is will appreciate my passion for dance.

Hae: I'm sure they will.

Eli: so um wanna come in and jam to Skz with me .

Hae: I'm in .

And that's how they spend they rest of their morning till noon until they were called for lunch.
