"Minnie, ke eng?" I snap out of my thoughts. "Mhm?" I turn to her. "What are you thinking about? You've been staring at the wall for the past five minutes" I have? "Nothing, ke sharp"

"Mosadi, bua" She urges. "It's really nothing. I just have this wierd feeling Ona, I can't explain it. Something's wrong" I express. "You need something to occupy you, ever since you and Samkelo parted ways you've been going crazy"

"I'm not crazy Ona, something's wrong" I mutter and the doorbell rings. "I'll go get it. You get your thoughts together before you start going insane" She walks towards the door. I sigh, shaking my thoughts away.

"Mommy!" I grin, turning around to face my three year old, watching as she waddles towards me. I kneel down, taking her into my arms. "I missed you so much" I mutter and she smiles, poking my cheek. "Bona" She points at the necklace resting around her neck. "O montle joang" I boast amd she giggles, throwing her head back.

"Where are you brothers?" I pick her up, balancing her on my waist. "Mhmmhm" She shrugs her shoulders and I give her a questioning look. Ona walks in carrying Liyema who's currently frowning. "I want to pee" She squirms and I quickly head down to their room, helping her into the bathroom.

"I'm done" She wipes her hands, and walks past me. "already?" I frown and she shrugs as we walk back into the living room. I pick up a sulking Luzuko and he buries his head into my shoulder. "Ke eng?" I look down at him.

"I'm tired" He yawns, closing his eyes. "Mosadi, as much as I'd like to stay the night. Ke na le monna o ankemetseng kantle. Ke tla le bona neh?" Ona grabs her purse and head for the door. "Bye Nana!" Khanya shouts after her.

I laugh at the nickname, Ona hates it when they call her 'Aunty' so she prefers Nana instead. "Minnie!" I frown, looking down. "O bitsa mang Minnie wena?" I turn my head to the side and he starts giggling.

"Liyema!" I call out as I walk into their room. "Mhm?" I scoff, raising an eyebrow at him. "What are you doing in there?" I look down at him as he pits something behind him. I put Luzuko down on his bed. "Nothing" He mutters.

"Come here" I motion for him to step closer, whilst holding my arms open. He immediately drops whatever he was holding, running into my arms. "O sharp, k-" He cuts me off. "No, don't talk like that" Mxm.

Apparently Samkelo doesn't like it when I speak with them like that. "Where is he?" I sigh. "He's in the car, he was on a call" Khanya answers and I nod, totally uninterested... You're lying. No I'm not. You are.

I am not interested in him or whatever he's doing. "Mama" Liyema winces and I look down at him. "What happened to your arm?" I asses the scar running down his forearm. "Uhmm..."

"Liyema" I warn him and he looks away. "Liyakhanya, What happened to your brother's arm?" I know she can't keep a secret. "I don't know" She quickly says. "Luzuko wena?" He quickly shake shis head no. I know he didn't get that cut whilst he was here because it looks new and fresh.

"Stay here" I get up, walking out of the room and heading down to the driveway. I rapidly knock on his window and he rolls it down, hanging up his call. "Ufunani Naledi?" He hisses out as if my name leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.

"What happened to my son's arm? Why does he have a deep scar running down it?" I interject. "Ungibangela umsindo" He steps out of the car, walking past me and into the house. I click my tongue, following after him.

"Ke bua le wena Samkelo" I raise my voice as he sits down, making himself comfortable on my couch. "Ungangiphakamiseli izwi Naledi, Angihlanyi, khuluma nami kahle" His jaw twitches. "What happened to my son?" He ignores me.

"Baba!" Khanya shouts as she struggles to get up on his lap. He helps her up and secures her on his lap. "Ke itseng ko wena Liyakhanya?" I sigh. "Mara Mama" She mutters. "Ke ietseng?" I repeat. "Mhm" Her lip starts quivering and her eyes turn glassy. "Lla fela" I warn her.

She sniffles, wiping her tears before burying her head into Samkelo's shoulder. His jaw clenches as he stares at me and I redirect my gaze to the ground. My phone starts ringing and I head up to my room, closing the door.

Me:
Rea?

Rea:
Hey, are you home?

Me:
I am but Samkelo's here too.

Rea:
You two are back together?

Me:
No, never... No, he's here to drop of the kids, he'll leave soon, I'll let you know.

Rea:
Okay, don't fall into temptation.

I laugh and hang up the call, before walking into my bathroom and taking a quick shower.  I put on my robe and head back into my room.

"Holy sh-!" I exclaim, clutching onto my chest. "What the hell are you doing in here?!" I almost shout. "Hlala phansi sikhulume Naledi" He orders, making himself comfortable on my bed. I remain standing. "Ngikhuluma ngedwa?"

I slowly sit down on the bed, adding a bit of distance between us. "Talk, I don't have all day" I click my tongue in annoyance. "What'd I say about that attitude?" He yanks me towards him. "Sorry" I mutter, he loosens his grip around me.

"I want you to move in with me" My head snaps up so fast it almost flies away. "W-What did you just say?" I stutter. "You're moving in with me" He states. "Wahlanya neh? Samkelo... Kanti o serious? No...no, NO!"

"I wasn't asking you Naledi, pack your things. I want you to move in by tonight" He looks down at his watch. "You and I broke up a long time ago, I won't let you boss me around anymore. I don't want to move in with you and I won't. As much as I respect and trust you, I want my own personal space and being in the same house as you won't work out. We can barley stand each other"

"Nale-" I cut him off. "Please don't, I don't want to argue with you because of this. I'm not moving in with you" I sigh. He pinches the bridge of his nose, heavily sighing. "Ngiyakucela, Just trust me this once" He adds.

"I've trusted you a lot of times and you've hurt me in return"
