Reaching Hinoto with those existing vines is going to be difficult... She thought, as she stood up and exhaled loudly, before rushing once more, dodging most of the shooting vines. She had channeled her sound energy to her feet, to hear their movement underground.
Chlorophyll watched in amusement, as he grinned. The little dove learns fast! He thought, as a large one shot from a tree, which didn't work with biology, but she'll question that later. The girl dodged, swiping her hands on the vine to destroy it, which worked.
Chlorophyll had taken that time and smacked her on the neck from behind, but she managed to make him hit a different nerve, which only caused her extreme neck pain. She jumped back, as Chlorophyll's hands were in the air.
Vines shot up from behind her and cuffed her hands, as she tried to break free. The man hummed, as he walked up to her and bent a bit to be her level, since he was a bit taller than her. Kara stayed put, if she can't use her hands...
She'll use her legs!
Kara raised her thighs and thrusted her legs forward, releasing sound waves on impact, which shot him back. She then damaged the vines using her feet, as she rubbed her sore wrists. Seeing how he wasn't getting up, she rushed to Hinoto's side.
She climbed the tree and tugged at the vines, until they eventually gave in and freed Hinoto, who held onto her hands so he can balance himself on the branch. After they ensured he was alright, they hopped down onto the ground.
They walked over to the unconscious Chlorophyll, who had saliva mixed with blood trailing from his mouth. Hinoto scrunched his face in disgust, eyeing Kara to get an answer regarding what she has done.
"That's one guy for us," She stated, picking him up on her back, before the two turned around to head back to their base to deliver the unconscious Chlorophyll into the jail for their points. Kara was unwary about how the Azure Academy students were all celebrating her win against the student.
As soon as they made it back, Kara was surprised with the amount of captured people within the first twenty minutes of the game, with only an hour and fourty minutes to spare. She heard the yelling of a familiar blue-haired boy, and she turned to see none other than Ai.
"Kara~!!" He called, running up to her, as he wrapped his arms around his shorter friend, before stepping back. He then waved happily at Hinoto, who smiled back and waved back, they looked like they ate dirt with all the small scratches over their skin.
"Here's one for you guys," She said, as she turned around and released Chlorophyll into Ai's arms, who smiled energetically. "How many have we captured so far?" She asked, nodding her head at the caged people.
"Thirty-nine, with him now it's forty!" He said happily, as he turned on his heel to go and put Chlorophyll back. "I hope we're ahead of the other team," She sighed, as she turned around with Hinoto so they can head back into the forest.
"I got to admit, you're strong. But if you want your little friend back, you'll have to pass my ultimate move; Bestowing Shadows!"
Hunter stood in his place. The ultimate produced a ton of surrounding shadows, to make it look like he was standing in the void. This looked terrifying to enter, but it's Akito he needs to save. Hunter hadn't developed an ultimate move, but he had plenty moves in stock.
Just... stay away from the void till you get how it works. He thought, as he raised his bow up, and unleashed three arrows made out of his own fire into the air. Much to Akasi's confusion, he heard the sound of flames that was coming his way. They were dropping like raindrops.
"Meet one of my finest moves yet! Flaming Trilogy!" He said, as the arrows almost made contact with Akasi, who barely dodged while carrying Akito. Once the fire made contact with the shadow which also reached the floor, they went out.
So, my element's no use in there... He thought, as he prepared more arrows, shooting them one after the other at Akasi, who just kept dodging continuously, till he stretched an arm of shadows at Hunter, who held out a burning palm to shield himself.
Shadows are weak to light, but for some reason... his ultimate nullifies light. He thought, as the arm weakened and crumbled. He continued shooting more arrows till he runs out, hoping it'd give him an opening eventually.
That could be it! He can only nullify light and use it to scare opponents! Strong! He thought, as he rushed forward, confusing Akasi, who stood in place, preparing to shoot his shadow limbs at him, that's when Hunter put his bow back.
I'll have to depend on my bare fists for once in a fight... He thought, as he ignited his fists on fire, and jumped into the void area he had created, he didn't feel much other than suffocation, but he had to fight through to get Akito.
Akasi's shadow arms sprouted from all sorts of areas within this void, as Hunter was left to dodge and nullify them by his fire, which worked. So only the walls and the ground were fire and light resistant.
He kept trying to punch Akasi, only landing direct weak hits, but then... his opening came, and he prepared a strong fist to punch at his face, one which is sure to make him lose balance so he can knock him out.
Hunter prepared his arm, as he shot the fist at Akasi, who had little to no time left to dodge, the male grit his teeth, trying to think of a way to dodge last moment. He stepped back by a tiny bit, which probably didn't make a difference.
