Chapter 4 (Marriage Contract)

Four days left before the event but both side seem to not bothered at all. All of them continue doing their work and doing their activity. At Ryan side, although he seem doing fine but if he being honest it quite a turmoil in his head. He don't know what decision he need to take. While thinking, he keep touching a ring that he wear around his neck as a necklace. It was a habit of his. Everytime he confused in making decision, he always touch the ring without knowing. As if he will get the answer from it. Should he accept or should he not?

Two day past again meaning that two day more left. Suddenly Damian Colton receive a message from Ryan that telling him to bring all of them to his house tomorrow with location attached. He didn't told his answer to the proposal. So the message cannot yet relieve Major General Damian Colton worry. He can only hope that the answer is yes. He not worried if he is the only one that will be punish by those male but his other friend also involved in this. He don't want those accident that night happen again. ''Okay, see you tomorrow your Excellency Ryan.'' replied Damian.

When tomorrow night came, all of the Major General arrived at Ryan's house. Since Ryan's house is far from the neighbour, they won't have to worry about the rumor that might come out. Ryan's house is a private manor with modern building and huge garden. It must be lonely for him to live alone with this big house, they thought. As they waiting, Ryan's gate automatically open as a sign for their aircraft to come in. When the aircraft landing, Ryan already leaning against the main door of the manor. It was the first time they saw Ryan in casual clothes. Ryan appearance seem much more relax and more approachable to them.

''Welcome Sir Damian, Sir Karlyle, Sir Eugene and Sir Allen. Please, come in. I hope it is not hard for you guys to find this house, hm?'' Ryan slide aside to give way to them to come in.

''Thank you, your Excellency. No, it was easy coming here.'' Answered Damian as a leader among them. Ryan who heard it smiled as he notice that most conversation among them mostly been answered by Damian. So Damian must be the leader or a protector figure among them. ''Lovely'' Ryan thought.

''I'm glad then.''

''You guys came at a right time. I just finish cooking not long ago. Let's eat before we talk, shall we?'' As they walking, Ryan ask them to join eating dinner with him. It's been awhile since he have someone coming to this house.

''You don't have to trouble yourself your Excellency. We alre.......?'' Damian voice suddenly stuck to his throat as he saw the dishes on the table. Same goes to Karlyle, Eugene and Allen. They are dumbfounded. This male cook for them? Another thought came to them. ''Are we already been rejected?'' They should be the one who cook for Ryan not the other around. So, this must mean that they already failed.

While they being dumbfounded, Ryan voice echo again. ''I don't know your preferences but I hope this dishes could satisfy all of you. This is my favorite.'' Ryan quite pleased with his handmade but well, everybody has their own taste so lets hope that they will like it.

''Let's eat.'' Seeing Ryan sitting, all of them also slowly finding their sit.

Since they might get rejected, let atleast eat this food. Allen thought.

To their surprise, the dishes are delicious. Everything that Ryan cook suit their taste. They are not picky in the first place but all this meal really are delicious. How long does it take for this person to cook all of this dishes? It not just two dishes but five! Lemon garlic butter chicken, black pepper chicken, ground beef and broccoli, garlic butter shrimp pasta, and broccoli & mushroom stir-fry. That are alot.

''Does it taste okay?'' Ask Ryan when he see those chopstick started to slow down. ''Yes? Ah, yes it taste delicious. Thank you for the meal your Excellency Ryan.'' Allen compliment Ryan cooking.
