Whispered Hearts

Chapter 1. Unexpected encounters: the beginning of something beautiful.

"Today is the day", Thalia screamed in excitement before the big night of her first day at Highschool. She couldn't sleep a bit, imagining all the new things she can do. The most exciting part is seeing her friends which are, Alberta,Marya, Leila, and Cora. She finally closed her eyes while tightly hugging the pillow. The sky was so beautiful that day dark blue, lots of stars and the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze. It was a calm and peaceful night outside, Wouldn't you want to wonder about how others feel before the big day?! The morning of the big day, Thalia woke up by the bright and orange sun shining in her face, She was late like always. She rushed down and got herself a bread while having it in her mouth she got ready fast. Head out of the door and went on her bike, Birds were chirping and the sky was as beautiful as ever. She got to her school, Thalia met up with her friends at the entrance, "GUYSSSS" she ran to hug everyone, "omg how have you been" , Alberta said smiling. Leila came up and said "I missed you babes and your sexy bodies." Leila is the weird one in the friend group, everyone is used to her saying stuff like that. Marya came after Leila looking at her weird like always, Marya was the everything in the friend group, she was weird, funny, outgoing, stressed, literally anything you can name. That morning Marya was exhausted , after everyone greeted each other, they head down to find their classes. Thalia found out she was with none of her friends, "what am I supposed to do now", she took her books walking to class but then stumbled on a girl with glasses that bumped into her, and they both fell down. Thalia tried to help the girl but when she looked up and the girls glasses fell. Thalia took a minute and stared into her eyes. "I can't believe someone's eyes can shine like that", Thalia thought in her head. The girl picked up all her books and ran away in embarrassment. "I should have got her name", Thalia headed to her class after and sat down. The class has started and Thalia was in her seat by the window looking at the birds, but then someone comes in late. Thalia turns her head to find out the girl that was late was the same girl that bumped into her. "She's in the same class?!," " At least I can get closer to her now". The girl looks up and makes eye contact with Thalia. She turns her head fast when her face started to turn red. "That's cute", Thalia thought, but then she realized what she said. "What am I thinking, That's a girl." After class Thalia approach's the mysterious girl, "hey, can I ask for your name", Thalia said. "my name is Christiana.." she said quietly. A loud bell sound comes, "oh that's the bell, I have to go. Bye Chris" Thalia leaves to go to lunch, " Did I just call her Chris?, What's wrong with me" I ran to my friends trying to act like nothing happened but they noticed and asked "what's wrong", nothing was wrong but I just wanted to see if this feeling was normal. "It's just about this new girl" , I said, "is she bothering you?", Alberta asked. "She isn't bothering me, it's just more like a weird feeling, I even called her cute in my head. All I think about is her." They listened to me talk about her on and on, they gave me advice as like "maybe you like her?, try talking to her more" Marya told me. "Yeah, let's meet her", Leila excitedly said. I didn't know how to go up to her but I'm going to try to become friends. The bell rings and now I have to head back. I stare at Chris from a distance, while we were in science. The science teacher told us to choose partners for the science project. It's my chance I thought, but what if she says no? I get more nervous and just thought I will ask her later. Two classes pass and now it's Language, this time I sat next to her. This is my chance, "Hey, have you thought about the partner your going to pair up with for science" Chris stares at me in silence, my heart beats harder and harder. "I actually don't know anyone right now so I thought doing it on my own would be the best choice", Chris said. "If your going to do it alone then I won't bother you." It did bother me for sure I thought to myself. "Actually I think doing it with you would be a good opportunity", DID SHE JUST SAY THAT!?! My heart beats harder and harder, I start blushing but I can't let her see? I can't let her think I'm a fool. "Oh then let's work on it at my house on Monday", Chris quietly said while blushing. "Sounds good to me" I said. The final bell rings and I pack up and say bye, you probably wouldn't see it on my face but deep down I'm literally jumping with flowers in my hands, waiting for our marriage, I take my bike back home and i lay down on my bed. I haven't thought anything but her. Could I be in love?
