3th person's POV:

You guys are all hiding in Medusa's basement. And when I say all I mean all. "Well great time to decide you could trust me Y/n." Percy said sarcastically . You just glare at him. "You missed the whole sotry, you probably don't even know why she's mad." he adds. Then the door opens and fire starts to run down the stairs. Percy turns around and screams at the sight of a petrified woman. Then you guys realize the whole basement is filled with people of stone. You hear a sound. "Come on." Annabeth says and you start running to find a safe spot. "They're four of us and only one of her. If we split up she can't be watching us all at once." Grover says. "I don't think it'd be that simple." Annabeth complains. "It could be. Here's the plan. I'll get in the air, I'll draw her attention. As soon as you hear me say 'Maia' you guys start–" He gets cut off by the shoes that start flying. "Oh boy! Okay. Uhm. Off! Down!" Then he just disappears. "So we're gonna need a new plan." Annabeth says. You and Percy just nod slowly still looking at where Grover went. "We are not our parents until we choose to be." You hear Medusa say. You and Percy look at each other and start running. Annabeth runs the other way. "You two have chosen." Medusa said. Obviously meaning Percy and Annabeth cause Grover's not a demigod and you're unclaimed. "A daughter of a self-righteous mother, who chose self-righteousness for herself. And you, You could have shown your father what it means to stand up for someone you love. You could choose to save your mother instead of doing your father's bidding. Oh and don't even get me started on you. A little girl with a dark past thinking she's so grown up now. Trying to be mature and cold but deep down you're just a little scared kid." Medusa said. Percy who's sitting next to Y/n looks at her confused but concerned and she looks at him. Then The snake woman continued. "If neither of you will help teach these lessons, perhaps you should be the lessons." You see percy grab his sword. "When I ship you're statues to Olympus...Maybe that will get my point even better. Stand up." She commands. Percy sits there with his word in his hand and you have you're batons ready to attack.

He looks at you and you sigh. "Medua used to be a beautiful woman, she adored Athena with all her heart, did everything to worship her. Until one day when she was seduced by Poseidon in Athena's tepµmple. She fell in love with him but Athena was offended. She thought that because of her fault, she needed to be punished. Not him, but her. She decided Medus could never be seen anymore by anyone who could live to tell the story. Medusa got turned into a gordon and punished because the faults of the man she loved." Percy just looks at you in disbelief, this was the first time you spoke in a long while and you knew the story somehow, but you just continue after a few seconds of silence. "Later on, Persues was sent to slay Medusa, which he did by cutting of her head." You say making it extra clear and his face lits up from realization. 

"Let's have a look at you." Medusa say walking up to you. Percy stands up with his eyes closed, holding his sword. Medusa is about to touch him when Grover comes up flying, distracting her. "Aahhh I didn't really think this through!" He yells falling on the ground. Then Annabeth places your cap on Medusa's head making her turn invisible. "Now!" she yells. You feel Medusa comming at you so you attack her at first and then nod at Percy who took taht as a sign and cut off her head. "Did you hear that?" Percy asks. "Hey are you okay?" Y/n says walking up to Grover. "Did you say something?" Grover asks.
